( the gardening club's sort of whittled down a bit... tragic. but nene is determined to keep a hold on their resource making abilities, so! after class, she's going to tug on lucifer's sleeve and tug him to the club room. which isn't really too impressive, anymore, but that will change come spring. there's supplies to take log of and things to plan for, anyways. )

we have the winter crops planted on the roof for spring, right? i wasn't available that month

( a pause, and then the digital voice reads out while she looks on sheepishly, )

IT'S ALREADY SO UNRULY? now it's everywhere, thanks dad. nene gives a huffy sigh, crossing her arms, before returning her attention to the tool box. ... they've been using more meal for the rooftop crops, so that's been going down a bit more now, and there's add's own plant food too... were there any remaining seeds from any of their planting sessions? so much to do... )

do you have a record of what was planted and in which plot? i think that sort of thing will help. also, do you think theres any more supplies we'll need?

( the club president's been out... but from the very start she's considered lucifer, as the oldest, to be her second in command alongside natsume. so... yeah. )

Naturally. I've kept logs of their growth by centimeters as well, and I've paid close attention to which plants need pruning and which do not. It also has the times and dates of when each plant was last watered.

[Lucifer has, in fact, kept a binder in the room for it. It's quite full now — he logs quite a lot for the sake of being organized.]

that's great! then, all we need to do today is go over supplies and maybe some ideas to bring up at the next club meeting for the next semester.
things to plant and stuff i mean

[By this point he was hoping to acquire Devildom varieties of plants but :( someone doesn't get enough bonus AC to have that and also I forget every time. Anyway!]

On my list is obviously more planters. We're running a bit low, on account of all of our plants are surviving just fine. [And Lucifer also will not skimp out by being like "oh we should plant stuff in the same pot" absolutely tf not.] I'd also like some indoor growth lights, for reasons that are likely obvious. My fear is that we somehow lose access to sunlight.

[You never know in this hellhole.]

As for plants, if we could somehow get away with a fruit tree... [You kids need vitamin C.]

i was told to ask the art club to make pots for us if we needed more, so we can see to doing that sometime. i doubt they'll be able to help until after exams though
i'll definitely bring the others up though! and the fruit tree!! i tried to get us a dwarp apricot tree when we started, because they can be potted

( nene puffs out her cheeks... she's still mad about that, honestly. she wants to grow a tree soooo bad! but she understands that it might be a little weird at first. ... maybe they could place it in one of the plots on the roof? or, no, that might not be deep enough... hrm. )

There are several varieties of tree that can be potted successfully. I would say we could plant it in the courtyard, but the school... board? Might take issue with that. [Much like how if someone were to walk up to the RAD board and ask to plant a tree in the courtyard, he and Barbatos would say no due to the uniform landscaping and Diavolo would ask what kind of tree and say yes anyway.] An extremely large planter would solve the issue of needing more room, for the most part. The issue is lifting it.

[It's not an issue for Lucifer, it's an issue for the people other than Lucifer who have to lift it.]

kazuki-san told me anything edible grown in the courtyard would be unsafe to eat. the rooftop plots are safe, though, which is why we use them!

( and then natsume confirmed it, but like. nene doesn't know about that. who he poisons isn't her business unless it's fatal, okay. )
