Separate to the online discourse, with less than two weeks to go before finals, I've been given permission to provide an extra credit assignment to salvage your grades.
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- The centre square is a magic square (i.e. the sums of the numbers in each row, each column, and both main diagonals are the same and add up to 15)
- The diagonal lines also contain the digits 1 to 9.
- Knights move constraint: no two squares that are a knight's move apart can have the same digit.
If you can provide me with the solution to the puzzle before finals start it's an automatic pass from me if you are in my class, and if you are not in my class I'll see what I can do to bump you up to the passing grade.
Otherwise, I'm also offering remedial math classes for anyone who needs it for the math final after school hours in classroom 1-D.

Well, since this is an extra credit piece, I know my students are not going to get one on the final. I don't know about the other teachers.
