those are bad luck comments

( global warming was WAY better. it's the answered question that gives komaeda pause, why he swallows down the saliva in his throat to respond if need be. if heaven such a domain that needs its ruler to prosper, he thinks of what the people too that surround god, if he disappeared what would happen to them? observers would think of it as a title that komaeda gives, but to him, that person is just like god; omniscient, talented in every field, there's nothing he couldn't do. if rio met this particular god, komaeda can only see great things because he wants to, he breaks down that part of everyone, in his delusional world, that they must love that person in general. hope has always been loved.

isn't someone who watches over others, that's part of weaving and connecting them by the seams, the aura that overflows in some, and by others all because of him? hope has been here before ultimate hope who was manmade into existence, but he was meant to change the world, he was the missing cog for everything to function correctly. if komaeda thinks about it, if he let himself break from what he knows, then he could make the connection that rio was meant to be that too. in a way, he understands, but he doesn't make it as personal. )

...Hm, God is different from everyone, but he can walk among mortals and others, do you think the land that he walks on becomes his personal heaven. The relieved world would continue to spin.

( though his home is damaged, the entire world crushed, and broken apart, but as long as go exists, then he'll be able to fix what' been broken. komaeda believes even now that god is doing just that, even if komaeda isn't there to witness it, he understands that everyone else will be. it feels almost cruel that out of all of them, as someone who would want to see hope heal the world — he wants to get down on his knees, smooth his hand against the soft ground, push in the seeds of hope so that the flowers grow wild, and the trees grow so tall that it gives shade to those who crawled under the sun, he wants to see the vines that grow twist and curl along the walls of buildings, hugging and keeping them together. )

Is it one of those wishes where effort yields results? ( a hand to his chin, nodding because that sounds so like rio, it may have not been a carefree wish, but he feels as if it can be doable. he's constantly changing, so there's a chance that in time he may be able to see it. slowly, komaeda pushes himself up onto his feet, and his hands flat against the surface of the desk that allows the pencil to slip from his hand as he turns to face rio. )

I'm not sure what it is, but if it's something you're taking part in... ( his words are quieter as he mumbles something under his breath along the lines of, "that sort of wish...", but he manages to smile, though it doesn't reach his eyes, his lips close as genuine as he can make himself. sorting through such reactions, having thoughts like he has, it makes decisions like this hardly tedious as he continues.

he steels himself, taking a deep breath. )

Then... I will too. ( without any hesitation, he hops forward, bringing himself close to rio, wrapping his arms around their waist, and his prosthetic comes to the middle of their back, patting as he rocks them left to right. it's a worrisome endeavor of his, but he knows that maybe this is a stroke of good luck, and whatever bad that happens next, he'll accept it as is. he believes he'll take the lightening strike, ) With two people, there's no way God'll reject it, and there's hopes that'll support your wish too, remember... ( a small, breathy chuckle like he can't believe himself for even pulling rio into a hug on the roof, where people might see. ) ...it'll tap their shoulder as soon as it rains.
