JANUARY EVENT LOG

✽ At the stoke of midnight, something shatters on the ground floor in front of the bulletin board, and the entire school goes dark: all electricity gets shut off, all flames are snuffed out, and the sky is heavily overcast to hide the moon and the stars. The only source of light are the suncatchers purchased from the student store, but even those fully charged will start to dim and go out over the next three days.
✽ Nene, Hinata, Noah, Amami, and Komaeda will smell something burning, and if they pull out their PDAs, it is hot to the touch and the casing is cracked, like something had blown from the inside, and their PDAs will not be working. For everybody else, the screen flickers when they press their thumb to their PDAs, and then goes dark again. ...
✽ If anybody was inside the main school building at midnight, I am so sorry, and for everybody else who enters the building afterwards, please watch your step. The appearance and atmosphere of the school has changed to that of the "void school" and can not be reverted upon breaking a mirror. ✽ 01/10 marks the beginning of the final semester, and when npc students and faculty will return to school. Of the ~260 npc students enrolled at the start of December, only ~40 npc students return to school, with the other three quarters having their names crossed off the class roster in the locker area. In light of the rapidly shrinking student body, homerooms will be consolidated by year, creating a single class for each of the first, second, and third years.
✽ The countdown in front of the bulletin board has reached zero, and the glass tube appears to have shattered and bled out onto the floor, to nobody's surprise. The mess will be cleaned up by the end of the week, and in its place is a notice for the school trip taking place next month. Please see the toplevel below for more details.

He thinks they might be. The rest of the room is set up like a typical research lab, with all the basic chemicals and equipment: a refrigerator, liquid nitrogen storage tank, sonicator, incubator, autoclave, laminar flow cabinet, mass spectrometer, and a high performance liquid chromatography system.

✽ Please give the temporary locations page a thorough read! The most noticeable changes aside from the usual void school appearance is the scattered void, lack of electricity in both the school and the dorm, and the ability to walk off campus. The setting will remain as is until the characters figure out how to revert the change, or on 01/10, whichever comes first.
✽ PDAs will be inoperable until fixed. Tech-savvy characters may realize that the PDAs are powered through inductive charging, and the first step to getting them (also electrical appliances and hot water) to work again is to locate the generator.

okay, here's my messy list:
- first, komaeda's going to get a bowl and put lily may's favorite "wet" cat food in one, and some water in another and set them in the middle of the hallway across from the counselor and nurse's office.
- he also sets a cat treat (he took the one back from the void) on top of the food, too.
- second, he's going to go inside of the nurse's office, with a book in tow, leaving a book in one of the cots where he found seiya.
- he's going to 3-a to sit rokkun's log down in his seat, yes, with all the mushrooms because komaeda has kept that alive for god knows how long.

- the moment Komaeda sets down the cat treat he hears the pitterpatter of kitty footsteps as the fluffy white cat comes trotting up to him for dinnertime
- the sheets on the cot are somewhat messy, like somebody had been lying there just before being spirited away, but Komaeda fixes the sheets and tucks the book by the pillow
- he leaves the nurse's office and sees the skinny black cat there now too, eating the white cat's leftovers
- he sits down at 3-A with the log and gets the feeling that there's something more expected of him

- first, his cats: he's going to hug lily may because he missed her, but he'll hold his hand out to bev to try and call that one over too. want to smell stinky cat breath!!
- he'll also close the nurse's office door, because... he knows seiya likes to be left alone, that's also a nice thing.
- okay, something more... something more... he's going to get up from where he's sitting, and shut the door, then he'll go back over to the seat and sings the same song that he sung on the rooftop.

Lily May purrs and rubs against his hand and tries to sit on his outstretched hand too, pets for Lily May only. The black cat finishes eating and then runs away
if the nurse's office is left undisturbed for the next 24 hours Seiya will be found in there zzzzing the next time the door is opened
in the middle of his song, Komaeda hears the door creak open and it's the black cat poking its head in like this

thinking about that meme that's like throw! no take! only throw! when dog has a ball in its mouth. pet! not him! only pet me! and then having the black cat return in the middle of a song.
when the door creaks, he'll look over to see if it's rokkun, but since it's the cat (which he'll pin to memory), he'll smile as he looks at the log.
he'll say something about how rokkun has to fight his way back to him now, and if he's not here... how will he continue catching his attention? .........................he needs him. (the black cat as his witness)

Nobody in the clock tower or the courts
But when he goes to the wisteria tree, he'll find Rokkun zzzzing leaned up against the trunk, appearing for Komaeda and not Shin or Amami or anybody else stopping by the tree bc Komaeda is his supposed anchor and the wisteria is Rokkun's preferred meeting place
