This uneasy feeling is weighing on me / I forced down my heart’s desires that I wanted to follow so I wouldn’t spit them out / They built up inside my chest, like dregs, and clouded me.

[she returns to doodling.]
That's really awful... I'm sorry I wasn't here to help. And for... [pause] I'm gonna help now. Promise.

( anyway, he'll nod confirming natsume's words, ) There was nothing we could do about it, this school makes the rules, but you weren't here to be apart of that bloodbath.
( at her pause, he looks at natsume, and then looks back. )
No need to help us, we want to help you. ...We thought you weren't coming back.

( lil bunny )
But Nagito-kun's RIGHT. We'd like to figure out what happened exactly the night you disappeaRED, where you actually were for two MONTHS, and why... how you came BACK, among other THINGS. It's alright if you don't have all of the answers for us--we'll help you figure it OUT.
So, starting from the top--please tell us everything you CAN. That includes what or who spurred you to ACT.

[she just doesn't overly trust him as far as she can throw him. and komaeda much less than she could throw him.]
Well... I was sick of not knowing stuff, and everybody dying, and Komaeda gave me this weird fan that lets you talk to ghosts. So, I talked to Nene's boyfriend! He said we shouldn't trust the shopkeeper. [which isn't relevant to this but she was lying she has so many ill feelings] Also, he said if we find the door to the domain of whoever's making this place awful, it could go back to how it was before. I was pretty sure it was that mirror, because bathrooms have water on the ground sometimes.
[in retrospect ten year olds are probably the worst people to investigate mysteries
sketch sketch sketch]
I had to have been on the right track. Why else would somebody have knocked me out? You don't do that if somebody isn't looking in the right place.

( the bathroom is a hot spot for spiritual things, but also that's where he was told about... surely those two pieces of information hardly have anything in common. a slow blink, and he lifts a hand to tap his cheek in thought. )
Did you have the fan on you still when you went into the bathroom?
( it works for talking to spirits, he's seen it used before, and his prime example would be gundham, if he was here he would certainly back komaeda up on that. he's not anymore, so he'll have to back himself up on what it can do, now if she didn't have it on her then... )
Hm... What do you think, Sakasaki-kun? Do you think Hanako-kun's the type to play mean tricks...
( komaeda absolutely thinks so. ) He's dead now, so you can say whatever's on your mind!

( hear that, hanako?????? you aren't WANTED... anyway. )
He probably WAS, but if Stephanie-chan came to him with a second inquiRY, I think he'd give her a serious anSWER. ( it's what he would do, so. ) There's no shortage of urban legends and ghost stories involving mirrors anyWAY, and I don't just mean in Japan either; it's a global supernatural phenomeNON. Even Alice stumbled through one after her adventures in Wonderland were over and found herself in an entirely new LAND.
( ...mmm )
Regardless—you said you were knocked OUT. Are you certain it was Nagito-kun you HEARD? And while you were OUT, did you... ( ... ) Did you feel anything differENT, or was it more like a blink—one moment you were doing your rituAL, and the next, you were at the meeTING?

I don't remember anything at all! One minute, I was in the bathroom, and it hurt; the next, it hurt, and I was with you guys. [frowns] My head hurts again when I think about anything between that... But, I had to have been somewhere. I think I'd know if I'd died again. Maybe I went through the mirror?

( but was there hope in that? give komaeda a moment to decide, and yet that's not what this is about. he listens to natsume first, nodding for each question because they're as important as the first and the last. it gives them a broad scenario of what happened with her, but the answers seem... )
...I spoke with Rokkun when he went missing, so I wondered was she there, too. He told me that he was somewhere dark, like a sea. Do you remember those lights from his memories? ( he's looking towards natsume, not bothered if stephanie hears this part, all he knows is that rokkun hates when it's all in explicit detail of the fate that he suffered, and he knows that stephanie doesn't care about him enough to know all of that. ) He said he went there, where they'd wander aimlessly, can't talk, can't see, can't breathe... just waiting like a ball of light, and all they had was the passage of time. That's where everyone was from my understanding, so maybe...
( stephanie ended up as one of those as well. )
