I hope everyone has been keeping themselves hydrated for the past few days! Something spectacular has been offered to us which happens to be a means of escape. After such excellent work by Amami-kun by showing such a dazzling array of peerless gallantry, his alluring charisma the beacon that shined brightly within the darkness, and led his followers towards the generator! For us to humbly wait, and to facilitate his return

( he's tap, tapping next to sara who happens to be messaging add, and whoever else is on her to text list, but after seeing komaeda give amami all the credit for something he didn't do alone...
> SLAP HIS HAND
> YELL IN HIS EAR
first, izumi's pda falls to the floor, and thank god it's a brick because he's able to pick it up after, and with a bit of yelling...

with the help of Chidouin-san, Add-kun, and Sakasaki-kun... the lights are back, and we are now rewarded.
...The hint was to go back home, we have to go back the way we came, and we all understand the meaning of that, I'm sure. We're requesting the aid of those who are capable of drawing blood in order to see this feat accomplished. We're in need of 5L, and with a variety of blood so I hope everyone can take part so that other's don't have to compensate for someone else.
If you're unsure of your typing, I gave a list below, use it to figure out what you're donating so we don't have more than another. Now, it's this way everyone can come together with a united hope of being able to get out of here! Both me and Chidouin-san are counting on all of you.
A
- Earnest, neat, stubborn, anxious
People with this blood type are described primarily as kichōmen, or well-organized. They like to keep things neat but can be stubborn and get stressed out easily. They also value harmony with others. Agricultural people are the root of blood type A, and it's been said working collaboratively on farms developed these blood type personality traits.
B
- Easygoing, leaders, insensitive, unpunctual
Blood type B is generally described as jikochū, or selfish. They are also known for their creativity. Blood type B has a strong sense of curiosity, but at the same time, loses interest easily. Though there are a lot of positives to B types, people tend to focus on the negatives for reasons we'll get into later. Some say their root is in nomadic peoples who roamed from place to place.
AB
- Passionate, creative, selfish, uncooperative
Blood type AB is a hybrid of A and B, two different personalities mixed together. They are often seen as dual-natured and complicated. For example, they are shy like A types, but also are outgoing like type B. Blood type AB is the rarest (and many other places in the world, too), so they are hard to find. This reinforces the stereotype that AB people are are kawarimono, or eccentric.
O
- Talented, composed, eccentric, two-faced
Blood type O is often described as rakkanshugi, or optimistic. They are outgoing, have leadership abilities, and are able to set the mood for groups of people. They don't care much about little things, so their behavior sometimes freaks out more sensitive A types. Though they're often late to events (and sometimes rude), O types are incredibly resilient and flexible, enabling them to roll with the punches.
Below, you'll find both a sign-up form and a little game if you're waiting for your turn on whether your blood is accepted by Chidouin-san and I. Donations will be given at the wisteria tree.

( he blinks, like that little comment was enough to make him excitable again.
... )
Mm, when I cleaned up the blood days ago, I noticed there was large amounts stained. I guess that was our hint, he just gave us a little push.
( that said, komaeda's the guider, not the guidee, but he'll accept it considering everyone's working together. no matter how much he wants to ignore it, when shin says something like that... komaeda knows that he knows, and that in itself makes him look off to the side. )
Anyway, As long as it keeps everyone moving, I'll give as much as I need. I saw you offered 250ml; did you know people say good things about those with the blood-type O? You wouldn't want to see your friends stuck here so that "good" is showing already!
( he didn't have to offer, and he could have used his poor condition to get out of it too... sickness solidarity. )

He... this event is the first time Shin's heard of 'S. Kaneko'. He's suspicious, but was else is new?]
...It's just practicality. There's only so much food and water here, after all. Getting out as soon as possible only makes logical sense... since we're just as stuck as everyone else.
[In other words, neither of them are good people because yes, he'd seen Komaeda listed with the same type. Also Sidney, but still. Ignore that there probably would have been enough non-him volunteers in the end, and that, yeah he really did have a handy excuse in his frailty.]

( he doesn't recall seeing him at the meeting, and it's not as if their thoughts are that far apart, they have the same end goal, just by different means. it's not anything too important, but he wonders what shin would think of it being someone with a certain ability that he has in his possession; in a way, he could agree with childe, or he could say that's just how yogen works in a weird manner which is also valid. )
He said what if this place was "real" and the other, in which we want to return to, the "lie".
( komaeda's arms cross because shin's comment reminded him of what he said too, this place can't be "real" because there's no way to live comfortably -- to find happiness. but they say that real happiness is when you have the necessities. that in the winter you would be happy to have a blanket, but if you find yourself in front of a roaring fireplace, you can even forego that. that's why the other side is where they believe they'll find happiness -- reality.
because childe is at full power, without the limits to his potential of the other side, his reality is in this place. )

Ahaha, if it's what's real to him, he's welcome to stay here. But I have the strangest suspicion he won't!
[Even with all the power at his fingertips, Childe still needs to eat. Presumably, assuming he's not like Add. But even Add came back after months.]
All that talk of the void being the way out... useless. That's the sort of thing someone who wants to be off the hook says after the fact. Surprised you're putting any stock in it yourself.
[Childe's no bodhisattva. He didn't kill all those people because he was being nice and letting them go first. He did it because he wanted to see what would happen, and knew he was convincing enough to get away with it. Shin sure knows the type. It's idly said, but it seems a vein's been hit, that this is coming out relatively and comparatively unprompted.]
Even humoring it... Whether anything is all an illusion or simulation or whatever... Doesn't matter, if there's no way to know for sure or do anything about it. How does he know for sure this place isn't? Endlessly ongoing forests aren't a common terrain, after all.
[He heard about that one from Noah. This is a conclusion he's had to reach to stay sane after sleepless nights and stressful spirals with that idea as a feature; that this really is all just another simulation, and they're all being watched like ants, occasional taps on the glass included. It might be more accurate to say until there's either of those things, in order. Harsh truth and kind lies... it's a nice poem, but it assumes they can be told apart and chosen between.]
Thoughts enough for you?

Simulation, huh?
( that word isn't foreign, and he has a romantic relationship with the idea of it. komaeda thought that to be the case at first when he arrived here, waiting for the other shoe to drop once the mastermind appeared, or the chance to speak to kirigiri about the situation at hand. she knew nothing, said that this world wasn't part of the neo world program, and he believes it because the people here would have no reason to be there.
if this was an entirely different simulation, )
Mmn, that's hell for you, and I believe there's symbolism in endless loops, just like everything else.
( the world is looping for them, but in rokkun's eyes its all on a linear time for him which is why he's growing sick of every passing day, and every moment where someone he thought he understood had forgotten him completely.
he doesn't think this place is real, nor does he find it to be a simulation — seiya called it a memory, something of the past. )
Let's not forget what Kaneko-kun said, ahaha... besides, I just wanted to see if you believed Chakkun to be delusional.
( he got his answer, so he's fine with that. there's a soft him afterwards as he glances towards the group, then back to shin. )
You're cautious, thoughtful, and you fiddle with information to calm your nerves. You have a certain view on things.
( cowards think differently from those who act brave themselves, and etc. what both parties have in common is applying themselves. )

Sure sounds like sci fi, doesn't it?
[In his world it was just... being developed in secret apparently, by this one megacompany in his backyard. It kind of stings his pride a little, as someone who liked to think he had his finger on the pulse of what was new in computing; learning AIs were one thing but this was something else.]
Hell, huh... that's one way to put it.
[Given they're dead and all. It's interesting, because they're not looping through time but... through death and memory, even though time is definitely being messed with here. He'll keep these particular thoughts to himself, though. What Kaneko said... the memory thing and the implication he was involved in sending them here aside, Shin can agree on the 'fuck Komaeda' front.]
Maybe he is...
[The less people see Childe as credible, the better. His eye opens sidelong as Komaeda makes that assessment of him; he can't say it's wrong, but hearing it laid out like that does feel vaguely uncomfortable. Yeah? And? So?]
Sounds almost like a morning horoscope... Or is that more blood typing?
[Komaeda's into those sorts of things he guesses, pulling meaning from random noise. It feels like it should be surprising, but it's not.]

We hit two of those here, considering the impacts of science and technology here is...
( he doesn't want to say bad, but the look on his face is something shin can tell means komaeda is close to shit-talking, that he's disappointed with what they have. he'll even pull out his bulky pda (un:i.sena), staring at it almost in shame as he pockets it yet again.
the only color in regards to that is the familiar items that he and rio keep finding, and maybe that lantern shin had in his pocket. anyway, that's with their help, not in general with the world's setting. )
If this was any genre, I believe Yogen takes a SOL and Horror turn.
( they're living quaint and nice school days when someone isn't dying, but he could also mention there's the supernatural, but komaeda could mention a lot. )
Chakkun is an unreliable narrator, though, that's because of his own delusions. So I'd rather talk to someone who has more insight on the school, I'll probably do that...
( what's real, what's fake, but he agrees with shin's previous words about childe; there's no way he'd stay here, but no... as someome who tries to find a challenge out of anything, he probably would from what komaeda learned from him on the roof. there's a twinge of insanity in his eyes, but sometimes it's like looking into a mirror. )
Hm... if you're not busy, we can read up on your sign. ( he knows shin'll say no, but he continues anyway. ) In the library, we'll be safe there.
( adds something to his nerves. )

With sci-fi elements, then.
[Most of which have been either through Add or Senku or Shin's own world... he's been jokingly been thinking it, but is that really it's genre? Then again, everything in someone's future hits those three beats to someone in the past. It's 2000 now... he would have been, what, four right now? Weird to think about. That skirting of shit-talking of the tech... it's a mood but he's not saying so.]
I'm busy.
[Just blatant lies. He's got a full schedule booked entirely of... hiding in his room. There's the no, and his nerves. Komaeda and the library... it's a bit annoying to Shin, since he likes to go there too and has to do a Komaeda check each time... and doesn't always make it.]
Surprised you don't have all that stuff memorized, anyway.
[He's always pulling random highly specific knowledge from nowhere and he's yet to see Komaeda rattle off the contents of both time boxes, but that definitely doesn't disprove it.]

Busy holed up over here and talking to me? I think you have all the time in the world! ...But I agree, sci-fi elements would work, things like time looping, that's a really big one, isn't it?
( what makes up yogen as a whole, there's so many genres, but they could all easily take place depending on who's living here. it's why he can't deny shin's input on sci-fi elements, it sure does have those. komaeda shrugs after, lifting a finger to point at shin. )
So I can tell you everything? You know, I hate those that leech off others, I feel as if people can do it if they apply themselves, and you're no different. Do you like to be the weak who leech off the strong, or pretend you're strong to help the weak? Either way, to do that you need knowledge that you gain on your own! The library is just a gateway to that.
...Hm, unfortunately, I probably would know yours.
( what are memories if not something to fill the blank, though, komaeda doesn't want to speak because what if it comes off the tip of his tongue fairly easily? like second hand smoke that he's familiar with the drug so well. knowing things about another person that wants nothing to do with you, it's a bit much, but komaeda manages to ignore the bulk of it by making shin speak about himself instead. )
