✽ The silence breaks at six to welcome in another crisp Wednesday morning. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and there's a surprise waiting for anyone who decides to sludge through the snow to inspect the area in front of the auditorium outside. There's a deep indentation in the snow, just large enough for a frozen, charred body to fit in.
✽ There are a total of three bodies to find. All three bodies have now been found.

As she approaches, Kaeda will see a body buried in the snow. The body is covered is charred and burned, and the snow around it is stained red. Let me know if she'll investigate the body or leave that for someone else.

Fortunately, it seems she wasn't burning for long, as the body is still identifiable as the Vice Principal. She is body is laying face up in the snow. Aside from the burns and blistered skin, it seems to have a cracked skull and several broken bones. It's ice cold with frozen condensation clinging to it.

okay so

1. what bones are broken
2. where on the skull is it cracked
3. what's the expression on her face like
4. are there any other notable injuries eg bruising and the like and where are they

1. It's safe to assume that her spine is broken, and there's probably misc fractures throughout. The limbs look twisted and out of place.
2. The back of the head
3. It's hard to tell as her face is burned and blistered, but her eyes are wide open, and it seems reasonable to assume that she was in quite a bit of pain in the moments before her death.
4. There probably are, but they're all consistent with the other injuries. The burns aside, it seems consistent with injuries from a fall.

excellent! not for her but for us. kaede'll do a check in her pockets and the like for anything noteworthy, but she's not going to take anything unless it's probably relevant to the murder because she's not a heathen. also is there anything under our poor miss vp

She might find a few misc items, but nothing noteworthy. There is nothing under the VP except snow and blood.

since it's come up in the meeting, are the burns on miss vp similar to the ones found on maya's body? similar if worse, given the state.

aka are they like boiling water burns or like actual fire burns, there's gotta be a difference

The two bodies have different and distinct forms of skin damage. The damage to the VP's body was consistent with damage from severe burns.

The damage done to Maya's skin is not consistent with fire burns. The body's skin has irritated, red raw, and blistered in patches throughout; however, the skin itself is still in tact - i.e. there's no bloody patches where the skin has been burned or peeled off. The skin damage is closer to what one would expect from a particularly bad sunburn or something of that nature.

in the log you said the body is "outside the auditorium" and that's too nebulous for a question natsume asked in the fammeet thread so past detective ebalon and akamatsu are asking: where specifically does "outside the auditorium" entail, because I'm looking at the locations page image and there's a lot of Outside there :')

It's more or less directly in front of the building, on the side facing the courts, I'd say within several feet of it. As far as the specific part of the auditorium goes, it would line up roughly with the two windows on that side of the building.
