✽ The silence breaks at six to welcome in another crisp Wednesday morning. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and there's a surprise waiting for anyone who decides to sludge through the snow to inspect the area in front of the auditorium outside. There's a deep indentation in the snow, just large enough for a frozen, charred body to fit in.
✽ There are a total of three bodies to find. All three bodies have now been found.

Let's check the bathroom first, please, since it's in the same floor. What do we got here?

Rika turns right towards the bathroom, stepping over the smear of blood to a clean patch of hallway that she can follow, and finds that the bathroom door is also bloodied in the way it would if somebody covered in it tries to open the door. No avoiding touching the blood to get the door open unless she has a cloth or uses the hem of her shirt or something, but when she opens the door the first thing that catches her attention is the large pool of blood right in the middle of the bathroom floor


and a tiny neon pink haired little girl lying face down in it

Rika has no fear, she can wash the blood off her hands later and she doubts anybody would suspect her of doing a murder. But sure, let's just look at this.

Well, this is certainly what she expected.

I guess we're investigating this body now first. Is there blood on the back at all? Or anything immediately off on the back half or is she going to attempt to shake her to attempt to wake her up first? There is definitely going to be some soft sounds of "Wake up, wake up..." on her end, to say the least.

There doesn't seem to be any blood on the body's back, nor any visible wound. Rika tries shaking her and calling out softly to her, but the person does not respond

Turning her around to the front side, Rika sees that the front of the girl's clothes are soaked through with blood, and part of her face is smeared with it from where she'd been lying in the puddle. The blood has since gone cold, but Rika can feel that the girl's skin is cold but not dead cold, more like brink-of-death cold, the slow and shallow rise and fall of her chest tells Rika that she is still alive

[Okay, yeah, she's going to take out her PDA swiftly to send out a message--]

There's a small pink haired girl in the bathroom on the fourth floor. She's still alive, but I don't know for how much longer.

So here comes Meng Yao—he is there relatively quick, and he...frowns in concern at the sight. He will try to check where the main wound is/how big it is/etc., before sending some spiritual energy to at least do his best in closing it up. If Stephanie makes it through this, she will need some close attention due to all that blood loss, and probably benefit from being brought to the Nurse's office.

Meng Yao searches for a wound but... strangely, he cannot find one, neither a huge gaping hole capable of spilling so much blood nor the scars or remnants of a wound that has since been closed up or healed by other means. If anything, he might be reminded a little of the state Narumi was in when he was found, with his soul shattered

...that was sure awhile ago, but yes.

It's a good thing that whoever saved Narumi will be able to give some advice on how to approach this, should it be the same.

If he checked what may be going on in regards to her spirit, would it be in the similar condition, then?

looks up, who saved Narumi, just stasis Stephanie until we figure something out seems to be the plan for now, maybe

If he focuses on Stephanie's spirit, he'll be able to tell that it is fragmented, but not as completely shattered as the soulless Narumi was. It's sort of like the shopkeeper's actually, whose soul isn't quite whole after Meng Yao saved them; Stephanie's just needs a little bit to bring it all back together

...Okay, coincidentally luckily Luci did teach him how to stasis things at some point, and that is lucky since Luci can't do that right now. So let's go find some chalk and take care of that for now via drawing up a magical circle.

At least this means that she will not die.

Are there towels to semi-wrap her up in/help wipe the blood off somewhere? He'll at least have tried to clean her up best he can of the blood since they are in the bathroom, but it will be limited because she will still have to wear the bloody clothes (just picture him moving her from the pool, and splashing some water on her or something.)

There's those brown paper towels and plenty of toilet paper he can use to sop up the blood, and water from either the sinks or the toilets

The easiest way to do this might be to just carry her to the pool or dormitory showers himself

He's wary of pool things so to the dormitory showers we go! If there's nothing else he'd notice with the body, then he's done here (besides cleaning up and storing the body-in-stasis somewhere until next meeting happens...)

That'll be it for the body at this time, until Stephanie wakes up and can share more!

Okay, splitting off slightly--besides the body, is there anything else to be found in the bathroom? Is the only blood just the one pooling from underneath the girl's body?

Rika stands up and gives the body space for others to help, and she looks up at the sink the body is lying in front of. There is some blood in the sink too, but more prominently, there is a bloody handprint (right hand) on the glass too, the glass cracked underneath the print and the handprint itself slightly smeared as if pressed in haste rather than slowly/carefully. The handprint is larger than the body's hands, which are only covered in blood in places they were touching the blood on the ground.

There is nothing else relevant she finds inside the bathroom, whether in the sinks, mirrors, stalls, or trash can.

In terms of the handprint's size, how much bigger are we talking about? Like are we talking about the size of an adult's hand or a teenager's?

It's on the larger side, so she would guess that it's probably an adult's or an older teenager or a teenager with large hands, idk how to age people by hand size

Good to know! Guess she should probably check the blood trail from the other end, now that the girl is being taken care of.

Rika heads out the door and follows the trail to the other end
