✽ The silence breaks at six to welcome in another crisp Wednesday morning. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and there's a surprise waiting for anyone who decides to sludge through the snow to inspect the area in front of the auditorium outside. There's a deep indentation in the snow, just large enough for a frozen, charred body to fit in.
✽ There are a total of three bodies to find. All three bodies have now been found.

Inch resting, he's going to take a photo of the note, paperweight and desk as it is on his phone as backup and then take the physical paper and pocket it before the other NPC teachers or maybe Maya Arisu herself come in.

Then he's going to check the Student Council room!

This isn't relevant to the investigation but I need to know what the paperweight looks like.

One more thing since it looks like I forgot to add it into my original comment:

If he's paying attention close enough attention, he'll also notice strands of short orange hair in the general vicinity. There's nothing particularly unusual about this, given that people shed hair all the time, except for the fact that it does not belong to the Vice Principal.

Ohhh my heart.... Shin takes the paperweight too, I'm sorry.
The hair probably won't survive his pocket but he'll do the same thing; trying to zoom in really close to get a good image on his phone of them, then take a couple of strands for comparison. He feels a bit stupid but Sara has sticky fingers and it works out for her, so...

One more thing, popping in retroactively, was there anything else on the Vice Principal's desk other than the note? I.e. how tidy does she keep it?

Her desk was fairly tidy. She would have the usual office supplies, including a mini calendar. He would also be able to find a couple memos. There's nothing of significance aside from the letter, but here are a couple little reminders to herself. There's probably some cute stationary and sticky notes on there too.

Also leaving aside the memos, putting this down here to keep associated information nice and tidy, but since Shin's faculty and would likely have been in the Faculty Office on the day before the murders, would he have seen the vice president there? Is there a time she left for the day, was it different from usual? Actually, what time does she usually arrive at the school?

The memos are just jotted down notes, maybe a couple meeting times or topics, and one about the upcoming school trip. There's nothing that would be of interest or significance though.

She usually arrives about thirty minutes before the start of the school day, but it can be earlier depending on how much is going on at the time. She typically leaves at 6PM along with the other students, but she stayed late on the day of.

Oh right, a thought occurred in the chat, what was the exact wording of the note? We've also seen the VP's desk, but is there anything of interest on any of the others? (Sffddgf has any of the paperwork pens etc on/in Shin's been moved or missing?)

It was fairly straightforward and simple, just a request that the Vice Principal come to the Student Council room to discuss "something" with her. There's no specifics, but it is addressed to the VP and signed by Maya. I'll be more specific and state that the note was kept near the stickies/memos and calendar.

Nothing else in the faculty office has been disturbed.

One more thing (I say, probably lying), was there a smell of chlorine or cleaning product in the faculty office, esp near where the hairs were?

There was no smell of chlorine or cleaning product in the faculty office. I imagine this would be discussed and asked about, so I'll go ahead and make a sweeping statement and say that the Student Council room is the only room within the school where it would have been present.

Sweet! Per Hinata's question, did Shin pass anyone as he left the faculty office and headed straight to the dorms on the night of the murder, and did anyone else stay behind there after six with the vice principal?

He wouldn't have noticed anyone as he was leaving the faculty office. He wouldn't have seen anyone in terms of loiters or a person looking to go into the office, so nothing that would have stood out. No other faculty member stayed after six.
