✽ The silence breaks at six to welcome in another crisp Wednesday morning. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and there's a surprise waiting for anyone who decides to sludge through the snow to inspect the area in front of the auditorium outside. There's a deep indentation in the snow, just large enough for a frozen, charred body to fit in.
✽ There are a total of three bodies to find. All three bodies have now been found.

Monthly meeting part two, this time it's personal.
So far we've had Bonnie, Miyuki, Joe, Lucifer, Ishimaru, Noah, Inaba, Sara, Subaru and Add come up to get fingerprinted! Do any of them match any finger prints on the hammer's handle (I should... probably have checked if there were any to start, rip)?

There are no fingerprints on the handle. There's no signs that hit's been wiped clean either.

Is there anything else he'd like to check?

Speaking of fingerprints, since there's that nice gap in between meetings this means he's also had some time to check the student council room for them. There's a lot of room so he's mostly checking the desk surfaces and also swiped the blackboard eraser for this purpose.

More or less no fingerprints present in the student council room aside from those left in the investigation, unless other members have been coming in and touching things. More generally, it seems to have been kept incredibly tidy and clean. The blackboard eraser might have some, but for simplicity I'll say that they would belong for Student Council members.

Is there anything else he'd like to check for fingerprints?

I'm going back in time here and just confirming if there's any unusual fingerprints on the Stuco windows or window handles, as well as the trash can (we've surmised at this point the culprit was probably using gloves but it can't hurt to check).

There are fingerprints on them, but they won't match any of the player characters (unless Ishimaru and Miyuki make a habit of touching the trash can and window, but I'm not sure why they would.) The only fingerprints present would be student council members and probably the janitor.

It's a different monthly meeting, but just to be thorough if there's a gap or reconvenement he's going to check the other two notes for their fingerprints as well if AInami will let him, using the ones he already has access to. In particular, seeing if Maya's fingerprints are on Maya's note, if they will have lasted this long.

He is free to! She will donate the note she grabbed to the evidence chamber since it's better to keep everything together.

Maya's note will only have the fingerprints of characters who have touched it throughout the course of the investigation. I'm assuming that this has been tracked well enough and that there's been no further evidence tampering in the form of sticking their fingerprints all over it, so it should be pretty easy to track. Regardless, Maya's fingerprints are not on the note.

The note that was found at Hiro's desk would have the fingerprints of: Kouji, Hiro, AInami, plus a set of mystery prints from whatever freak was going around messing with the evidence. I'll just go ahead and note here that AInami would let him cross reference her prints if he was asked to for the sake of the investigation and in order to separate which ones were hers and to help the investigation along.

Iirc Shin only handed the physical note to Hiro and all other handlings were of the photo he took of it, so it should only have his own and Hiro's (which he has) on it : D Inch resting.

I'll ask nms if it's okay if Shin knows Komaeda's fingerprints bc he's def squinting at that. And sweet thanks Bunny the crossreference does help things go smoothly.

While I'm here, are there any prints apart from Shin's on the VP rock? This is mostly to get the VPs prints but also pays to be sure.

Shin's so clever for that, I love him.

There's no other prints on the rock aside other than the VP and Shin's. Based on that, he should be able to tell that the note he took from her note on her desk has her fingerprints as well.

I think this has come up a couple times, I'm thinking about it I'll add that if Shin or other faculty staff who spend their time in the faculty office or had paid any attention to her, he might have noticed that she is the type to keep memos, etc, on her desk to avoid forgetting about them.

Just to clarify, so he can tell the Maya note also has the VP's fingerprints using the ones on the rock as a reference? Are there any other unidentified ones on it? Or is this some other note on her desk?

And awww... that does explain them everywhere. Even dead I love her.

Yes, that's correct! He would be able to tell that the fingerprints on the Maya note and the rock match. If he wanted to, he would be able to confirm it by fingerprinting something from her desk. Discounting the ones from investigation, there is only one single set of fingerprints on both items - i.e. only the VP's fingerprints are on it.
