im detective noah ebalon

we have a body near the front of the auditorium. female, unknown age, burnt to a crisp. no tracks leading to or from the body. im here with detective kaede and i think the victim may have been pushed out of the windows above the auditorium or off of the roof. i dont want to leave the scene of the crime at the moment as there are still things to investigate, so im calling for backup. can i please get other detectives to check the 3rd & 4th floors and the roof for evidence?

animals... and a very strong victim. what wild animals roam this area that you know of that are violent?

I actually know nothing of the local wildlife. I have yet to encounter any animals around this school, so I have nothing helpful to suggest on that front. Surely my studies are lacking. Do you know of any?

well your honour, there is a forest nearby, but when i went out there i didnt see any wildlife

thats not to say theres nothing out there as the wildlife could have been scared of me. in pine forests though you normally see animals like wolves, bears, game animals such as deer, small rodents, and species of butterflies

now obviously only two of the animals i mentioned are gonna be responsible for such an injury, but i didnt see signs of any large animals like that at all. bears should be hibernating at this time of year too but there are no mountains for them to live in out here

wolves usually roam in packs and you can hear them howling. i havent heard a wolf howling though

That lines up with what I have observed as well. While presiding over several cases! I have not noticed any animals within the forest. I should also notice that in this scene, although the arm appears that it has been attacked by an animal, I see no other traces of an animal in the area. The only footprints appear to be from

from the victim himself. So you see that this is quite the confusing puzzle! I may have to call a recess.
