im detective noah ebalon

we have a body near the front of the auditorium. female, unknown age, burnt to a crisp. no tracks leading to or from the body. im here with detective kaede and i think the victim may have been pushed out of the windows above the auditorium or off of the roof. i dont want to leave the scene of the crime at the moment as there are still things to investigate, so im calling for backup. can i please get other detectives to check the 3rd & 4th floors and the roof for evidence?

He's. Been sulking here for the last hour. Which is very much not good. Alright. ]

...I arrived here an hour ago. From what I saw when I entered, there had been dried blood on the floor. By my estimation, and the rate at which blood dries, I'd say... it would have had to have happened at least an hour prior to me getting there.

[ A pause. UGH, he doesn't have anything else... ]

Hiyori would know more. He brought me out here after we found the body. [ Which, even though Shin was the one who made the announcement, he's not going to point that out. He did get that with his permission, after all. ]

He's still in the student council room, and I'm sure he can corroborate what I'm saying.

[ That was him speaking earlier, after all. ]

[ Sometime before 5 in the morning... Overnight, essentially, like every single one of those Stupid Extra Murders that have happened this school year because nobody is content to just stab somebody in the gut and leave it at that. That rules out half the school, and of the half that's left, who would benefit most by Maya being out of the way?

Hiro stares at the newest student council member.

Then peers around him at the closed door like he means to march in there and ask Hiyori for his take. What's he doing in there? Natsume is inside too. ... ]

[ An angle he hadn't even thought of, mostly because it hadn't crossed his mind. He's already sure he's got to bring it up to Ishimaru, but he doesn't have any information because he's been busy feeling bad for himself instead of investigating. It's frustrating.

On the other hand, they've had plenty of time to hopefully bring the body from the ceiling and... have found out more about what happened. It's not a pretty sight, definitely not one that Hiro would appreciate being shown. He's completely been backed against the wall.

Come on. You can figure out how to prove your innocence, Miyuki Shirogane...!

We'll go in. [ Miyuki places his hands up, keeping them where Hiro can see them. Showing that he's unarmed. ] If you aren't satisfied by what you've seen, then...

[ He trails off. He hasn't settled things with Shinomiya yet. He's had her on his mind for the last 55 minutes now. He doesn't want to die before then.
