The problem lies in the fact that we required Hanako to do it — he ejected our souls so we could visit Narumi's and reassemble the shards. Anyway, do you know how bad the damage is? With Ito-kun it was pretty bad, but he's not the only example case we have, and I did ask around about other ways to help heal a soul before.

By basic observation alone, she seems to be less... fragmented than Narumi was, if that makes sense. It's... better, but not optimal. What did you learn about healing souls, if you don't mind sharing?

"Time heals all wounds." ( is the long and short of what kazuki told them back then, he's pretty sure? )

Something like that, but I think that's meant more for the less extreme cases. The rest would be more speculation, but I think it's worth it to explore any other options we have before we go rushing into anything drastic.

... I work with artificial spirits and household items, not putting human souls back together. This is way outside of my expertise. The Incubator spell only works the way it does because of my mistake, it wasn't intentional.

All I can think of is... if we want to copy Hanako's technique, we don't have to remove anyone's souls. We only need to make a connection to Stephanie's long enough to pull her back together. That should be a much safer approach.
