I hate to say this, but you all are easily more experienced with this than I am... Still, there's no reason to wait on this when one of our classmates has turned up dead, and another [she is assuming stephanie is theirs] is in the state that she is. I don't want to think one of us had anything to do with it, but turning away from the truth only invites more pain--

So let's lay out what we know and try not to go at each others' throats about it.

You must care for her a lot if you're going to say that. But I really didn't do much; it was basically effortless. It'd be another thing if I got her to wake up. I just simply found her.

Well, yes, I suppose you could say that she is a friend that I care for a lot! And I have worried much for her throughout her disappearance. While I am typically one who values effort, I will not hold any lack of it on your part against you in this case. I am simply glad, relieved and thankful that she was found in time.

At the beginning of last November, Stephanie-kun left behind a note in which she claimed that she was going to a bathroom to battle a monster that was apparently behind this whole place. We were worried for her and searched every bathroom for her! Until we tried one on the fourth floor... The same one from today's incident.

In that bathroom, we did not find Stephanie-kun, but we found Sportacus-Sensei instead. He was from the same world as her and was someone she idolized. But he had not been present in this school until that moment. There were also remains of a salt circle there, so it is believed that some kind of magic at play. Somehow... That magic may have caused Stephanie-kun to be swapped with someone else from her home.

So do you think that the same-- or something similar-- happened here? I didn't see any salt, though.

Yes, I do believe that the events are connected. It likes up too strangely to be coincidental. Stephanie-kun reappearing just as Sportacus-Sensei goes missing..

The lack of salt is a significant difference, to be sure, but at the same time, I do not have an intimate knowledge of how this magic works! There seems to have been a problem with whatever occurred, however, considering that Sportacus-Sensei seems to have been attacked in the process.

I see. That means we probably should learn more about how this whole thing works a little better, then...

Indeed. I will try to look more into this magic. And Stephanie-kun herself may have answers when she awakens. I just do not wish to pressure her about the matter immediately, with everything that she has been through!
