I hate to say this, but you all are easily more experienced with this than I am... Still, there's no reason to wait on this when one of our classmates has turned up dead, and another [she is assuming stephanie is theirs] is in the state that she is. I don't want to think one of us had anything to do with it, but turning away from the truth only invites more pain--
So let's lay out what we know and try not to go at each others' throats about it.

But given that the blood path looked like 'something was dragged'... it could also be a person, right? The girl--Stephanie, that's her name?--didn't seem to have any injuries that could cause her to bleed out, then the one who was bleeding had to have been someone else, right?
Maybe that person was trying to protect her.
Although since blood drip, drip, dripped onto the floor, I wonder what happened...

the people at this school sure do resemble some of her other classmates at times, that's for sure. not always a positive.]
I think we'll have a better picture of what happened once we can bring Stephanie-san back to us, but until then, I don't think your idea is a bad one. If it was the culprit's, there'd be no reason for her to be left in the state she was -- unless they didn't think we could do something about it, of course.

If they have underestimated us, then we'll use it to our advantage. And if it was from someone protecting her, then all the better.
