I hate to say this, but you all are easily more experienced with this than I am... Still, there's no reason to wait on this when one of our classmates has turned up dead, and another [she is assuming stephanie is theirs] is in the state that she is. I don't want to think one of us had anything to do with it, but turning away from the truth only invites more pain--
So let's lay out what we know and try not to go at each others' throats about it.

That nonsense aside... I'm going to say this happens last for maximum drama. He holds the strands against Subaru's hair, and they match perfectly.]

[Shin's paranoia machine is starting to rev up towards cruise speed, unfortunately. He literally can't trust anything Subaru says or the way he looks right now... anyone can look innocent, and hurt when you accuse them of something, and turn it around on you like how dare you say that.
The only thread Subaru has in Shin's mind, right now, is that one possibility that's already been established; that this is a plant to throw suspicion. Unless it's a double bluff. Is Subaru really the sort capable of pulling that off? Then again, does he know anything about Subaru at all? Someone needs to stop Shin before he starts stripping his mind's own wires.]
Why would it be specifically you, then? Close to Maya, were you?
[After all, for framing to work, it has to be somewhat believable in the first place. Miyuki makes sense as someone in the student council with access to the room... and it's also kind of a way to flush out some potentially genuine motive, balancing on the knife's edge of trusting to distrust. Shin's kind of wishing he didn't print out those photos now... it's a little harder to catch someone in a lie. That's the problem with meetings, he guesses.]
