MARCH EVENT LOG
At midnight on March 1st, a rolling lightning storm hits Yogen. Thunder crackles, and strikes of Anvil Crawler lighting can be seen lighting up the sky; anyone paying attention to the courtyard may see the explosive strike of lightning hitting the wisteria tree. Petals scatter throughout the air and are carried off in every direction by the wind...
As the month goes on the school will start to look even more barren. As the month goes on, several students start to disappear, with rumors spreading here and there about students disappearing after entering the forest. Those rumors twist and warp, and within just a few days there are rumors of a witch in the forest. But it's not a witch, nor a ghost, or anything else, but a dream, and those who enter will find themselves reminded of such by a soothing voice, the voice of a person they're familiar with, speaking gently in their ears:
"You are dreaming... They have always led and will always lead you here... Remind yourself, this is a dream..."
The world shifts subtly. There are gravestones marking the pathway now, and before long the forest is replaced by a completely new scene. A voice reminds you once more that this is a dream, and that you have always been here. You have always been led to this place. But where is this place? It's the world of a player character. It's nothing more than a snapshot in time. It might be one that they wish to escape, or perhaps a warm memory of a time that they wish to return to, but it is always an important memory to the character.
Whichever it is, the only way is to move forward. As characters move through the memory, characters will soon notice a snake and holly tattoo that spreads over their body will be. It starts small, a clump on one's back, but will spread across all parts of a character's body. It will reach the neck and face last, killing them upon reaching the eyes. As the curse spreads, they will notice changes in the dream including hallucinations, hearing lullabies, and shades that pursue them. They will also notice increased exhaustion and lethargy.
Upon reaching the end of the memory, they will find a glowing ball of light representative of a lost student's soul. Finding the soul will lead to both characters awakening at the edge of the forest, and the character who had been dreaming will be covered with the tattoo for a brief moment before it disappears.
Those who entered the dream may hear that same voice from before that tugs at their mind as the dream fades away:
"Remind yourself, this is a dream, and soon you will awaken. But you are here, as you always have been, and as you always will be... Soon, you will wonder where you were, and each moment after, will bring you here..."

Those who entered the dream may hear that same voice from before that tugs at their mind as the dream fades away:
✽ Dreams may be whoelsale memories, or they may be more akin to dreamscapes based on a person's memories or mental state.
✽ The holly pattern represents the pain of love and aches of the heart, while the snake represents the yearning for the dead that consume a person.
✽ The tattoos will be blue or red.
✽ Characters may be drawn into the forest more than once, or require multiple memories to be gone through before reappearing. In those cases, the character who had gone through the initial memory will simply wake up in the forest alone.
✽ Characters who hear the voice upon leaving the dream will be more susceptible to entering and being lost in the forest.
✽ Anyone who is not rescued by the end of the month will be found at the edge of the forest. The tattoo will cover their body and stop just short of their eyes. It will disappear within an hour, but they will be exhausted for the rest of the day.

that isn't the answer he's looking for, shaking his head as he stands up, and walks away from the counter as he picks up one of the bottles of wisteria. with a small shake to see the petals flutter inside... )
You're a bad businessman! You're supposed to say it's great! We can get it in stock within three days, or your money back!
( isn't this how that works? or that's what he got from the advertisement commericals on tv. )
Anyway, we have a few tea cups in stock, some that Kogamo-kun made.
( with midori, but that lore died with keigo tbh. ) We should sell actual tea, too. ( he's only saying this part because it sounds ridiculous. ) It's like soup in a cup.

What, are you buying it?
[Is he supposed to sell you everything you mention?? He's not the capital A Algorithm...]
That's not a bad idea... There's different kinds of tea, right? We could match them to the cups.
[He'd wondered why those were there. It's said with the slow tone of someone testing the waters of an idea. Selling the tea cups and tea with them... He's thinking of people who knew Keigo particularly. Thankfully he doesn't know that now lost to the void detail, or he'd already be reluctant. He's got the annoyance of when someone has you dead to rights about something but you're not happy about it.]
Oh, have people stopped putting soup in cups now?

he has too many ideas, some better than others, but it's meant to be a sleeping agent so there's a couple of creative uses that he knows of. tea is one of them, he finds, if you grind it down into someone's tea, it's no different from when he wanted to use the human flower seeds on rokkun. grind them up as one thinks about their plan, lose their heart, and serve it to that person with a smile— the same can be said for the wisteria petals. )
It'd add a little flavor to the shop, ( badum tss.... ) and if we stick to your idea. You could sell what makes a person sleep easier.
( or they could just sell via teas: black, green, chai, matcha, etc. there's various ones that could work. shin could sell black, and komaeda green that fits their light and dark these; life and death. he sets the wisteria jar back where he found it before slipping his hands in his pockets, actually excited at shin's positive response to the idea. )
Soup in cups are old school, come on, Tsukimi-kun! You can have a teapot which can account for both, we need more variety.
( it's a joke, they all work the same, but he continues on with a nod. ) If you could match them, how would you go about it?
( it has a teach me meaning in his words as he watches the other. )

Are we a pharmacy now?
[Sleep aids... well, he can't say they wouldn't work as that, exactly... The way Komaeda's putting it doesn't exactly have him confident about it's safe use.]
Ugh... Soup in a teapot... That's worse.
[The spout would get all clogged... and then you'd have to wash it... He changes his mind, the oldschool is definitely the way to go there.]
Well... it's not like I'm an expert on tea. [He's picked some stuff up here and there from one of his part time jobs, but that was a while ago, so he's hedging.] But it'd just be a matter of finding a flavored blend that fits, since they're all decorated differently, right?
[Does he say out loud that his plan was to sniff them until it 'seemed right'... maybe not.]
Like this one... it's got daisies on it so, err... something clean? Fresh? ...probably a green or white tea to start with... So you'd have to be careful about not overpowering it...
[Black tea is a bit more forgiving of adding too much flavour. He's fallen into puzzle mode without quite realizing it...]
It's got forget-me-not too... so maybe something to make it just a little sweet. [NOT TEN TEASPOONS OF SUGAR SWEET. He found out later exactly how expensive Midori's favourite tea was... that he'd then proceed to utterly ruin. Agonizing in hindsight.] Something like a blueberry flavour, maybe. I'd wonder if peppermint wouldn't be too much either... maybe lemon balm? Or chamomile?
[When you get right down to it, making a tea blend's kind of like making a soup, isn't it? He looks up from his pensive position.]
Of course, that's assuming we can get these things, ahaha...
[He's been curious about how Keigo got their wares for a while now, but he never outright asked them, and now it's something they have to figure out... Some can probably be gotten from the Gardening Club, but not all...]
