( NAWT MIDORI'S HUBRIS IN HERE it's fine, dream painkillers are a go.
searching for komaeda will be difficult when it's like he's disappeared into the murky darkness. and her only solace will be reaching the building in time, but will she make it?
her throat becomes tighter and tighter, there's a despairing feeling, this need to just fall and give up— allow everything to overtake her as the air fills up her senses. there's a low growling behind her, a black paw coming from out the trees, and a red glow to give her the feeling that something is watching.
she'll want to keep moving, because as soon as she reaches the building; she finds that the door has been torn off, and there's nothing standing in her way. she can't look back, because it sounds like whatever has found her is right there, so glow she can feel breathing— if she decides to look, that's it: game over.
but she makes it as she rushes in flawlessly without even tripping or getting cut, and as an award: she can breathe! it's very, very, very clean air; crisp, like the air they sell at those rich establishments, so this air will feel so different to her, maybe. the tasteful air won't be able to ease up the tension as she hears something crash into a wall, mechanical parts clinking together, and if she looks behind her... she'll see half a bear's torso walking to the left of the door.
it seems it cannot get in.
there's a faint blue glow from the inside once she catches her bearings, and if she looks towards the left, she'll see fish tanks set against each other with a light inside— they're swimming happily, it's like someone has fed them, because they come in all shapes and sizes.
in front of one tank is a small stand, there's a familiar hacking gun, and a book that waits for an owner.
there's a large trashcan by a flight of steps, and it reads 1F indicating she's on the first floor.
...
she can investigate, if she'd like, but it's too dark to make out what's all inside aside from there being steps, fish tanks lined up in the wall, a trashcan, and a table with items. )
