[ A message goes up on the forums late Friday evening.

S.chidouin: Group meeting in the dorms Saturday. 12:00. No punching. No stabbing. I'll bring stickers.

If your character would not find a post from Sara worth listening too, Bonnie is wandering around, vaguely noting how important this meeting is, and how very much you should attend. No further details are forthcoming.

The meeting itself is a quiet affair. The fireplace is not lit, there are no snacks. Sara waits in the corner for everyone to arrive and get settled and then she clears her throat to speak. ]

As most of you know... [ It's hard to start, but her voice gets firmer as she goes on. ] We spent the last two months investigating Maya Arisu's murder. That case is solved. A few weeks ago, Bonnie-chan and I found the culprit.

Rantaro Amami killed Maya Arisu, Hiro Arisu, the vice principal and is presumably responsible for the scene with Keigo Arata. He is also dead. I just figured...everyone should know. To many people got hurt the last few months. I'm sorry.

[ She fiddles with her hair. That's all...she really has to say. There's not much more then that as the gist of it. ]

Meng Yao wants to scoff in the other male's face at that. Really? Of course, he knows it's rude, and it is entirely possible that it is true, but after he has seen the ways things go at this school, and even before he has arrived here, he can only find such a statement laughable. Though he is not so cruel to do so aloud.

Midori is being so kind to him, after all. ]

I thought it was rather enlightening and necessary. Though it's unfortunate about the revelations in it, it's not as if it would benefit us to remain in the dark. I only wish it hadn't had to come to this point, even if from a certain view, this may have been inevitable.

[ The point he speaks of being Rantarou's loss of life. In the end, he doesn't care about those who died before him, not really. He was not even close to Keigo—he only ever cared for Rantarou and Subaru's sakes. ]

That's appears to be debatable! It seems from the conversations going about that something could have been done.

[ that's important to note, actually, all options weren't lost, it only depends on previous actions before, and other little pieces. chess pieces don't move by themselves, there's always a hand, and some take riskier moves than an easy one that may also lead to victory. what makes that so endearing is that there's so many pieces on the field that it shouldn't be a one man job, but...

what can they do about that. ]

As to what... I really can't give my entire thoughts on the situation, I didn't know much about any of the individuals that took part.

[ maya, vice principal, amami, and then there's keigo which he knew for a brief moment in time. ]

I understand the methods of the drugs used, but that's never enough to piece together the entire story.

[ there's a few brands of teas that he brings down, various flavors, and he sets them down on the table so that meng yao can have his choice. vanilla peach, rum raisin biscotti, and then there's also caramel nougat which happens to be all types of black, but there's the oasis green tea he brings down next, looking over what's inside and allowing the other to view. ]

Orange Jasmine would be a nice green tea as well.

[ Meng Yao hums in consideration. He doesn't think it debatable, but all the same maybe he thinks that way because he's currently upset with the loss of Rantarou's life, and it's affecting his judgment. Even now, he's rather cognizant of his perception of things, and has no desire to allow even that to make a dangerous slip up he hasn't account for.

So then he just decides to nod after that brief moment. ]

That's to be expected. I'm not going to anticipate you to have much opinion on the surrounding events since you've little knowledge about the parts to play in it.

[ He skims over the first three flavors and he immediately reaches for the oasis green tea, after inspecting it. ]

I'll have to try it sometime. [ Beat and then a little smile. ] I haven't extended my thanks to you yet for your consideration, so I think I'll do it now.

How kind of you, but no... there's no reason to thank me. It's a troubling time, and all I can do is give my assistance in the medical field.

[ broken hearts, broken bones, and painful thoughts are easily healed as long as he has the proper tools. that's why he extended his hand and consideration out to meng yao in order to ease his mind rather than watching him suffer. as much as midori likes to watch a bit of conflict, he should at least make a name for himself with the people around him. ]

Do know if you're ever troubled, you can visit me at Moon 4, or even the Nurse's Office. Our resident nurse allows me to stay there from time to time to work so she can take a break.

[ fetching a tea kettle, he begins to pour bottled water into it as he watches the inside fill up. ]
