( he wasn't planning on harming any rangers or fishes, so... that should clear things up well enough; it was an accident. probably. hopefully. okay, point is that it didn't kill him, and it wasn't something lethal anyway, so now there are more important things at hand. also he probably just straight up did not hear enough of the komaeda comments to make a full response to those, so instead what he works with is: )
