[ his hands drop down to his side. ] You forget all about that song and go on with your daily life, until one day, a melody sticks with you in the recesses of your mind but you simply cannot recall the song, or the lyrics, just that little tune which itches your brain. So what do you do? You begin to try and figure out the melody through humming, or even the words. You only need a starting point.
Right, I get it. Like that one handkerchief trick — you just need to pull on the first one, and the rest will come along with it.
( there's something about it — even that advice in and of itself feels familiar, doesn't it? his hand comes up to his chin as he tilts his head, smiling, and interest gleams in his eyes. )
Yeah, if you don't mind, I'd say I'm pretty interested. I don't have too many options right about now.
( all of his, essentially, they come down to people. there's no avoiding that he's going to have to trust someone if he wants to follow through on his memories, and while seiya has been troubling to properly track down, hiyori... well, hiyori has ranger's recommendation, and ranger's proven himself to be telling a story consistent with what the others remember — and with more details besides. if amami has to look at what's available to him, if he needs to take some kind of risk... this alone feels like the safest bet to take. )
