Time marches on, and as the end of the month goes on a few things have been happening...
✽ Those who have accumulated a large amount of merit points over the last two years will find that their tallies are healing proportional to the amount of merit points they've collected - i.e. the more points one has collected, the more tallies will heal. Please note that this is the sum total of all merit points collected, rather than their current amount, and does not include any merit points accumulated from murder. For those who have not accumulated many, they will find that as they collect more and more, their tallies will too begin to heal.
✽ The front gates off the school cannot be opened, but it is possible for characters to climb over them or try to squeeze through the bars. The closer they get to exiting the school the more they'll feel dizzy and detached, but it does seem to be possible to exit in this way. Please let me know if your character would attempt this. This is the second time this has been possible.
✽ The counselor's office will be unlocked after hours starting on 04/22. The counselor himself continues to be available during office hours and leave the school at night, and whether or not he's aware of this change is dubious. Still, students are able to use it as they see fit after hours.
✽ Those who are close to the white cat will increasingly notice that the black cat has been more friendly with them. It will watch them more carefully and come closer to them. It will also prove to be more protective of students than the white cat is, hissing and swiping at anyone it's decided is a threat, and trying to lead them away from dangerous situations, including safety hazards. Characters might notice a light bulb shattering as soon as they follow it out of the room, or a ceiling tile falling two inches to the left of them.
✽ Hikaru, Akeru, and Kiyoshi, three students who had planned on graduating the year the fire occurred, can be found throughout the month wearing friendship necklaces that have been seen several times in the school before, most recently in January. The trio are now marked as graduated in the student council and faculty records.
✽ The mirror shards that were collected during the May missions will continue to respond to each other. It is up to the students who gathered them to determine if and how to use them.
