05/10 Charity Auction
On Monday morning, each glass case in the auditorium has been fitted with a small scanner similar to the one on the vending machines, at which one's PDA can be pressed against to bid a chosen number of merit points. Bidding is open all day, discouraged during class time and so the bidding rush happens at lunch and after school until closing at 5:45 when students are set to start leaving for home. Bids are anonymous while in process— or, as anonymous as can be while staring daggers over your friend's shoulder daring them to outbid you— but the winning bids and bidders are posted at the front of the auditorium at the end of the day.

Rights to the body belong to Kokichi. The case as a whole cannot physically be moved away from the wall or out of the auditorium, and the lid will not open unless he taps his PDA, screen unlocked via fingerprint, against the sensor. He does not have to open it today, or even after time is up at the end of the week and the body and case will be removed if yet unclaimed— as long as the body has been in the case, it has never changed from appearing to be at the brink of death.

And then Norton quickly rushes in, handing off a small kit to him. The scientist quickly fumbles with it a bit as he opens it, nerves getting to him slightly, but he slowly takes a deep breath and calms himself. A scalpel, and a few other survival items? Norton just earned 10 billion points in his book! ]

[ Senku steels himself, calming shaking hands before doing anything- he didn't want to make anything worse. Focus, Senku, you can do this! You've done surgery on someone before. In fact, that same person is waiting for you to get back to your world and save them.
After Senku finds the deepest wounds, he starts to work on those. ]
In an ideal world, we'd have an IV drip or something, but I doubt this place has anything like that.
[ Don't mind him, he's just trying to make conversation while he works so he isn't completely wigged out. Soon, some of the more deeper wounds are closed up with stitches. ]

as things stand though, he'll hand off the small kit, filled with a scalpel, tweezers, some surgical scissors, and maybe a roll or two of gauze or bandage—whichever miss nurse may have been willing to spare him under the pretense of survival club practice in the case of injuries. he'll hand them off after senku confirms, and move away from him a little to give space. )
Yeah. Sorry to say, but I don't think we'll have any such luxuries.

[ He stands at one of the mirrors and takes a swing at it! ....Ow, it didn't break at first, so he's shaking his now hurting hand before trying again. Another swing, and...

( because, getting up, he'll also reach for the mirror. he's of the opinion that their makeshift doctor maybe should have been the last to leave, but as things stand, he's going to.. pry out one of the shattered pieces of glass from the inside of the mirror's frame—it's a bit heavy, but long and narrow, and should split easily if it's so much as tapped on the ground.
he'll hand this to kokichi before turning around and prying out another shard to hand over, and one for himself. if kokichi hasn't taken the matter of having her break the first by now, he'll ensure that's done before smacking his own against the corner of the sink to shatter it. )

[ ...Well, so much for all that hard work. But at least he knows where the more serious wounds are and he can get to those first! He pulls on his gloves again and starts getting back to work. Time to work on a time crunch yet again. ]

Kokichi frowns at the once-again bleeding body for a second before diving right back in, applying pressure around where Senku is getting back to work. And then once again, there's Norton reappearing with the kit again. Wasn't there a story about hell being endless deja vu? This sure feels like it already. Kokichi grimaces at the feel of the girl's blood warm and wet on his hands again in the places it had previously be drying, but his voice is as light as ever.]
So much for knowing what you were doing! Those stitches didn't even survive whatever that was.

Thanks. And hey, I do know what I'm doing! It just seems that things over in that other world aren't permanent- that's at least new information we know now!
[ He starts working on fixing up Body-chan yet again just as Figaro comes in. With the way he carried himself, it seemed like he knew a thing or two about the medical field. ]
This is the body from the auditorium case. She's still alive, and I'm trying to stitch closed some of the larger wounds first while pressure is being applied. What you see in terms of medical equipment is all we have at the moment. [ He continues to talk, carefully working on Body-chan as best as he can under so much pressure. ] Apparently some things you do while you're in that weird shadow world don't necessarily carry over here, so this is the second time I'm doing this.
[ At least he knows which holes need to be closed off more than others first? It's definitely a start. ]

( lets not with another blood transformation sequence, shall we? in any case, this is something norton can help with; once there's nothing else sharp too close to her, he'll scoop her up off of where she's been lain, and set her over top of the jacket that's been spread out for her, exceedingly careful to ensure that he doesn't disrupt her too much or cause anything that may still need treatment to worsen. )
