⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ▙ Funky Laptop. ( 5/16-5/17 )

[ Unsure why it was the laptop that woke her fully into who she was now, Chiaki Nanami spent the day in the Game Club room on Sunday attempting to figure out what was within the computer. Unfortunately she was a gamer, not a programmer. Although it was in her repertoire to create a game from coding.. Trying to configure a computer out of its system was another feat in itself. She did manage to look at the system settings and figure out what programs it used… However outside of that and the strange icon with an eye. There was nothing she could discern from the item.
The blood was an alarming feature for sure, and she cleaned it off. Out of her own want for comfort, but also as to not alarm anyone. If asked she would not hide that there was blood upon the laptop, and already understood from the rules of the island. Kept the entirety of the image in her mind - incase a trial would come up.
Inevitably, she is found in the Game Club room. After having wiped the laptop off playing with the games on it. Minding herself quietly. If you pass by her or say something, she will most likely ask if you would like to play a game with her. ]

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ▙ Dozing off in thought. ( 5/18-5/24 )

Spoilers

[ In tandem with her memories of this school, the preexisting life she led before being who she was now. Nanami remembered many things, many memories that were not hers, as well as the memories that were entirely entitled to her belonging. When she had oft but maybe 3 years or so of memories to call her own. She cannot help but mourn the school life that seemed to fade away from her hands. Wishing to grasp at them, like fumbling pieces of glass that scattered now from her fingertips.
To her memories were everything, and even if they were fake. Constructed by the measure of this school, for her to have and hold onto until she remembered who she actually was. They were still hers, and belonged to the school life that she had gotten to live. If she did not hold those memories precious, then wouldn't it mean she looked down on the memories that sculpted her?
Unfortunately, they were gone and now all she can discern are her memories from before. Jabberwock Island, the memories of her classmates, and the memory of her death as well as the miracle Hinata had made for him and his friends.
This was equally as precious to her, and ultimately she was with thanks to have them again.
Nothing were out of the ordinary as it were, and she had returned as the Nanami Chiaki from before!
As such.
The girl is found staring outside a window towards the Wisteria tree. The colors of it attracted her, but considering she had spent the day before attempting to figure out ‘her’ laptop. She thought to spend the day thinking and trying to figure out the strange mysteries of this School. That included the wisteria tree , or the clock tower , or even the auditorium . Nanami would attend class regularly, and then once it was said and done. She would be located at either one of these places, in deep thought. Sleeping. ]
ZZZZZ..

[ Wake her up?
>Yes
>No
>Something else.]

TEARING UP

[personal profile] commences 2021-05-22 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
( in the simulation that captured his youth, that was a time where those who lacked talent meant nothing to him, and those who had it reigned supreme. even now, komaeda still has that sort of energy that comes from him, but this time talentless people are worth his time. though, he doesn't know the headspace he should have as he's told one after the other that his plan failed, that what he did was kill her, and she killed him — when his entire purpose was to act so that the traitor could go free. that's what his luck gambled on and everyone else would die in their stead, because at least whoever had that role wasn't part of the deteriorating despair they all carried.

he doesn't remember anything, only the disappointment that ran through his body after learning the truth, figuring out the people he revered were nothing more than ants in his eyes. then he remembered the hope of being something more to the people once he saved them from despair — his want to become the ultimate hope, revered and cherished. finally loved for his deeds. even after waking up, he had high hopes for certain people, and even then, he didn't know who or what he was aiming for. he didn't know what outcome came from his luck, nor did he understand how they all managed to make it through — yet, komaeda is also part of that group. a remnant of despair, one who carried out nefarious deeds, and even then he masked it all in the name of hope. )

...

( he looks up, his eyes meeting with the reflection of the vending machine's glass, and he stares to check the expression he wears. lips pursed into a straight line, yet it's an emotion that he doesn't know how to process, or maybe he wasn't ready to hear something like that said to him by her after reuniting. as much as he could say he didn't kill her, if he dates back to a time long before what had happened, he'd say it, but unlike her — he can't. komaeda may be the type to lead to the point, but that's what he does, keeps them on track rather than say it outright. )

Are you here to punish me... for my sins?

( his sins, but they were something he believed were right, so rather than listening to his mistakes, his failures — he decides to ask this way. ) Is that it...

( he's seen her awhile ago when both him and hinata suffered, though her words weren't as concerning as they are now. in the end, they're still sharp enough to impale his skin reminding him that he's still capable of feeling pain. depsite he can't smell the blood, and the fact that she's not laying on the floor in it. there's one thing that's for certain — )

Hasn't your corpse haunted me long enough?

( her corpse has never haunted him, rather, she has been hope, and he's even said that her sacrifice will grow the hope of every student within the 77th class. it would be a lie if he felt that in his heart, and even now, she's still this prospect of hope that he's unable to let go — that's why she remains so vivid in his mind. yet, as much as everything about her lives free in his mind, he's never pushed her away, because he's respected her far too much. that's why as he heard his own words leave from his mouth, his lips part open slowly as she speaks to him in gratitude, he returns apologetic. )

I'm sorry, that was careless of me... trash getting worked up...

( something... someone... pushes him just a little in regards to his feelings, emotions that are hard to understand, and to hear her thank him before his own apology stings. why is she thanking him, what did he do if he failed, even waking up to the truth means nothing knowing his goal was never finalized to the extent that he wanted it to be. he doesn't know if she was the traitor considering his plan failed, and if his luck really let him down when he needed it the most — is that when he awoke from the pod that everyone was there. he wouldn't despair won, because he threw away her arm the moment he was pulled out from the bed he rested in.

it's still hope with him, and he wouldn't have it any other way. that's why he's able to stand here, watch the expression on his face turn curious as his brow raises. rather than looking directly at her, he stares at nanami through the machine's glass, trying to read her face. what is it that she wants to say? that doe-eyed look that she wears so honestly has always masked her feelings, but the tone of her words have always been genuine, and komaeda knows she doesn't speak to hurt him. )

...

( there's no "maybe" at all when it comes to this, and instead, he knows that his future shouldn't be filled with regrets, and the thing is there's nothing he regrets about her. )

We shouldn't talk here. ( about their sins, their failures, or anything else that if someone overheard that could be used against them. because they're different, they've done things to ensure hope for others, though nanami was right, and komaeda had always gone about them wrong, but in the end something positive was made of it. ) Alone would be better... I'll listen to what you have to say.

( had this been komaeda as soon as he died, it probably wouldn't be this way, but the fact he's no longer caught by the simulation — it gives him more time to think, allows him chances he didn't think he'd have. if she is here to punish him, it'd be easier to do that without others seeing to stop her. )
