[first connection] ➱ text / action [username: h. inaba]
[Given the fact that it's been a good amount of time since Himeko's managed to get her bearings together and mull things over, she's finally going to make the decision to actually do something.
Impatience seems to win out in the end, it seems.]
Hi.
Many of you guys might not know me, and I might not know you. But it seems that we're all in the same boat, so I'd like to make amends to that. I'm Inaba, a high school graduate; nothing really special about me. And more importantly: I think that because of that, we should at least try and share any important information - probably in a meeting or something, in person. Although if you want to share things one-on-one, you can find me at classroom 3-B.
But just to make it so that this is a much more interesting post: how about we play 20 questions? But instead of guessing something - let's make it a 'getting to know each other' type of thing. So ask random questions about me. Ah, but I'm not obligated to answer any and all of your questions, alright? This is supposed to be fun, not weird.
[And if anybody does want to physically meet her, she'll be in classroom 3-B like she's said for a good part of the afternoon and evening hours; although people will most certainly find her getting up to walk around the hallways of the school to stretch and look around once again, but she doesn't seem to be looking out for anything in particular... this time. Although if she notices someone, she'll give a rather casual wave.
If she's seen during the silent hours, however: she'll wave quietly using her PDA in a gesture of Let's chat through this.]

In truth I do not eat meat, only vegetables with the occasional fish. As the castle I resided in hailed of the North. So I am a Northman at heart, and will eat fish as well.
Are there any eating habits that you delight yourself in good Miss?

I do like fish, though. Then again, when you live in a port city, you kinda get used to it.
I don't know if you can call it a habit, but... I tend to eat a lot of frozen meals.

A port city? I presume then you too were raised by the oceans water? I do miss the days of my youth... Long rides with Gringolet along the shores whilst the sun set, surely did wonders to my nerves and sense of peace.
What is a Frozen Meal?

[It's very much a 'been there, done that' situation for her, as much as she loathes to admit it.]
And I was. It's one of the biggest cities in Japan, actually.
As for a frozen meal... I probably need to explain what refrigerators are, don't I? But they're basically cheap meals that you can put in ice coolers.

[ Excited, he loves Japan! ]
I love Japan! I have such love for the Samurai and Damiyo of your Shogun centuries. Were you born at a time when they were alive?

I don't know if I should say it was fortunate or unfortunate that I wasn't. But why do you love them so much...?

I don't think idolizing them as 'loyalty' is a good thing, especially since they're human. Not to mention there have been traitors.
no subject
That does not mean their actions should define the true meaning of the way of the Samurai or, of the Knights vocation for that matter.
One traitor does not define the course of what one stands for.

I don't think a single word can define a person entirely either, though.
