[Given the fact that it's been a good amount of time since Himeko's managed to get her bearings together and mull things over, she's finally going to make the decision to actually do something.
Impatience seems to win out in the end, it seems.]
Hi.
Many of you guys might not know me, and I might not know you. But it seems that we're all in the same boat, so I'd like to make amends to that. I'm Inaba, a high school graduate; nothing really special about me. And more importantly: I think that because of that, we should at least try and share any important information - probably in a meeting or something, in person. Although if you want to share things one-on-one, you can find me at classroom 3-B.
But just to make it so that this is a much more interesting post: how about we play 20 questions? But instead of guessing something - let's make it a 'getting to know each other' type of thing. So ask random questions about me. Ah, but I'm not obligated to answer any and all of your questions, alright? This is supposed to be fun, not weird.
[And if anybody does want to physically meet her, she'll be in classroom 3-B like she's said for a good part of the afternoon and evening hours; although people will most certainly find her getting up to walk around the hallways of the school to stretch and look around once again, but she doesn't seem to be looking out for anything in particular... this time. Although if she notices someone, she'll give a rather casual wave.
If she's seen during the silent hours, however: she'll wave quietly using her PDA in a gesture of Let's chat through this.]

[ There's a pause before Satoko sends another message. ]
Sorry, I'm just stressed. It sounds like an interesting way to get to know each other.
Where did you go to school?
no subject
Being stressed is pretty natural in a situation like this, though. It's part of the reason why I decided to offer a small icebreaker, of sorts. It's no good if we can't calm ourselves down at times like this.
In one of the largest cities in Japan.

Besides: getting to know one another isn't a bad thing. Not if we want to get out of here.

And unfortunately for everyone else, he makes himself feel secure by shoving everyone away and building mile high walls. Inaba's post is just the first thing he spots to get started with.]
oh wow, an opportunity to ask some random chick about herself??
just what i always wanted!!! how generous of you! ヽ(≧◡≦)八(o^ ^o)ノ
gosh what should i even ask...
how about your favorite food??
no subject
Favorite food, huh? Can't say I really have any. I'll eat pretty much most things, I don't have that much of a preference on anything one way or another.

As for my first question, how is it that you feel about Mashed Potatoes?
no subject
[She's pretty aware of myths and the like, although she can't tell if he's being serious or not especially given the circumstances.]
I don't really have any strong feelings one way or another. It isn't really something I eat that often. Why mashed potatoes in particular?

I'm a little concerned about that. Should we really be sharing details about ourselves in these...?
[ there's an edit to this comment, only two minutes later, as if hurriedly added after realizing something. ]
Ah, sorry. I don't mean to criticize your intentions. I'm sure... we all probably needed to think about something else for a bit.
no subject
I didn't really want to do much on a public forum, anyway - I just thought it'd be easier to get the word out for a larger amount of people to get talking and be aware, especially due to several reasons. I don't recognize anyone here or really know anybody here. Because of that, I'm not sure if anybody would be willing to share their information to begin with. That's why putting out feelers is important. It's also why I offered a 'game', in the off chance that nobody was interested. That, and I thought a good ice breaker would be a good way not only to help me get to know other people and vice versa but also earn trust.
After all: I'm just a stranger.
Who would trust a stranger to attempt and run a meeting at first sight, even if a bunch of us are in the same situation?
[There's a little bit of her self doubt leaking in her text, but she tries to hide it behind walls of logical reasoning.]
But the fact that this is all public is also why I offered meeting in person. Besides, if they really wanted to stop us from planning, working together, or sharing things...I suppose you could say that it's strange that they let us walk somewhat freely at all.
Even if it's a 'cage'.

I will also agree to take part in your game. It seems like a good way to learn each other! I suppose that I will start then. Please tell me, what are your ambitions in life?
no subject
Well, I'd hope that it would be. Ambitions, though... I already plan on going to a decent college focused on sciences and learning more about the world, but I guess other than that, and this is admittedly a little embarrassing, but raising a family?
