[Given the fact that it's been a good amount of time since Himeko's managed to get her bearings together and mull things over, she's finally going to make the decision to actually do something.

Impatience seems to win out in the end, it seems.]

Hi.

Many of you guys might not know me, and I might not know you. But it seems that we're all in the same boat, so I'd like to make amends to that. I'm Inaba, a high school graduate; nothing really special about me. And more importantly: I think that because of that, we should at least try and share any important information - probably in a meeting or something, in person. Although if you want to share things one-on-one, you can find me at classroom 3-B.

But just to make it so that this is a much more interesting post: how about we play 20 questions? But instead of guessing something - let's make it a 'getting to know each other' type of thing. So ask random questions about me. Ah, but I'm not obligated to answer any and all of your questions, alright? This is supposed to be fun, not weird.

[And if anybody does want to physically meet her, she'll be in classroom 3-B like she's said for a good part of the afternoon and evening hours; although people will most certainly find her getting up to walk around the hallways of the school to stretch and look around once again, but she doesn't seem to be looking out for anything in particular... this time. Although if she notices someone, she'll give a rather casual wave.

If she's seen during the silent hours, however: she'll wave quietly using her PDA in a gesture of Let's chat through this.]

I do happen to have plans, although some details have yet to be finalized, and I may have to make some adjustments. You see, I am supposed to be attending a special school called Hope's Peak Academy, which will be quite helpful for me obtaining a useful position in society!

My ultimate goal is to influence a society based around the value of hard work! I have based my life around that principle. And for that goal, I intend to excel at every academic subject! Through the power of hard work, I hope to obtain as much knowledge as possible and to use use it for the sake of averting disaster and advancing society!

Thank you for your support!

Well you see, it is a school that accepts only the most talented of students, who are the best at what they do! And those who graduate are guaranteed a successful life afterwards. So you can see why it is considered to be quite the big deal!

I would say that the proper word would be 'prestigious'! By bringing the absolute best together, they can act as beacons of hope for society! It is only a shame that almost all of them have natural genius in their talents, rather than getting there through hard work! Still, I respect Hope's Peak!

[He really, really would have liked to have gotten to actually attend it!]

I suppose that you did, but I disagree with what you said nonetheless!

I am not privy to every step of the process undertaken by Hope's Peak, but students are scouted and assessed, to ascertain that they are perfect in a given field, or as close to perfect as humanly possible! They select those who are the best of the best at something, it is as simple as that!

It can't be that bad!! But I do agree that it is imperfect. I would much prefer people to be valued based on how hard they work, instead of natural talent! Now that is the way that the world should run!

I see. Well I can only provide so much information about the Hope's Peak selection process!

I am glad that you approve of the value of hard work! There is something that we agree on, Inaba-kun!

Now with that covered, I wonder what else there even is to discuss! We already talked about academic futures and ambitions. Ah yes, that is right! Naegi-kun did tell me that friends study things like television shows and movies to connect together. So tell me, Inaba-kun, what sort of television shows do you like?

I see. Quite the interesting answer! Now documentaries are something I would watch anytime! Nothing like something good and educational to watch, am I right?

Correct! With every bit of knowledge, our minds become stronger!

I'll watch any documentary series that seems reputable. I also enjoy watching the local news! But for the most part, my study of television shows has been woefully lacking. It is only recently that I learned their value in building friendships!

That is correct! Before I learned that, I considered any interest without an educational value to be frivolous! But now, I can see the value even in studying such fictional works!

With that, I hope that we can get along, Inaba-kun!

I see. That is a good point to consider. I have to do what I can to enrich my mental health, so that I can be better suited to studying as hard as I can! Thank you for enlightening me on this matter!

I am glad that you agree. We have to stick together in a situation like this, so I am glad that we can cooperate!
