( i promise you she is listening and she is doing her best to retain the information being said- having physical examples helps a lot actually- she is still so very bad at the core classes. she's very intent with her listening though, and lets him do as he will- she trust him implicitly. )

What personal secrets, I dunno what you're talking about- ( she only tries to keep her very, very bad pokerface for a moment before bursting into puffed giggles, because god. ... no, she never wants her secrets out again, not after the 4 o'clock bookstack-- but there's a difference between a grown man blackmailing you for your secrets for his amusement and a boy just a little older than you being kind. even if his compliments do make her blush and leave her absolutely baffled- ) ... it's a wonderful feeling, honestly... although, she's quickly distracted with a brush of affection that leaves her heart skipping a beat and her cheeks flushed pink. he's gonna do bad things to her heart if he keeps this up!! after a moment, she just nods and manages to brush her hands and face clear before standing up to shake the scales off of her clothes. )

Sakasaki-senpai? Can you check my neck please...? I can't really tell if it's dry enough-

Of COURSE.

( he'll move her hair over her shoulder then, gently touching her neck and brushing off any scales there, wiping wetness away. if he were a worse person, he'd take advantage of this trust; but he only reflects on it, reflects on how she probably wouldn't let just anyone this close to check. she's kind and sweet and a little innocent, like the nickname he's given her, but she's not dumb.

natsume still blows on her neck before he brushes her hair back into place, stepping away the proper distance a boy and girl should have between them. )

( once he gives the okay, she sits back upright and smiles softly- but no less bright and warm- up at him. even if everything was... quite the shock- and she might have unintentionally just drastically changed natsume's entire world view, whoops- it didn't turn out so badly, did it? having more people in the know without being... exorcists, or people who hate the supernatural despite being part of it themselves. )
