Case 2: the Curious Detective
Who: Sherlock and Whoever - open
When: Mid-June
Where: Various
What: Cooking With Detective, Flour sitting, etc.
A. Japanese Curry is British?! (Closed to Lucifer)
[As promised, a promise he only realized he made after the sleepover, he started to make curry in the kitchen once the staff left school for the day – having told Lucifer when to stop by. Thankfully curry is a common enough dish that he didn’t need to hunt too much for the ingredients, though the curry powder while having the appropriate subtle sweetness was much too mild on its own.
By the time Lucifer would arrive, he’d find things underway, the rice cooking, apple and vegetables sliced and the Detective mixing something in the powder]
Ah, there you are, would you mind trying this?
B. Flour sack check
[It was his turn to watch the flour sack, named Toby just because. His fingers trace the outside of it, lips pursing in thought]
You are quite a bit livelier than most substitute babies are...
[If he only had access to an x-ray machine, as Nene wanted this to succeed he won’t open the sack himself – he’s not completely heartless]
I hope this won't be a mistake.
C. Wildcard.
[Want something else? Catch him anywhere in the school, either in the library or examining the construction, beating up imps.

(They don't respond to the bit about being less guarded. Contact with other robots has helped, but the biggest thing, ironically, was the battle they witnessed. It has showed the truth that their fellow students are fellow victims.
Their flour sack makes a little noise, and they look at it with concern, taking a moment to shift it to a position they hope is more ... comfortable? Can it even experience discomfort?)

[He takes the lack of response to his observation as a suggestion not to push]
I... wonder if it's more comfortable if you hold it like a human child?

Affirmative. Damage to musculature can be sealed with heat. Small quantities of circulatory fluid can be replaced with water.
(They are working on additional solutions, but do not tell him of their efforts.)
