He'll show up in a reasonable amount of time with a stack of pancakes, an entire bottle of maple syrup stolen from the fridge, and a candle poking up through the top couple of pancakes. Do not ask how they're going to light the candle, Noah isn't in possession of a lighter. He supposes he can mimic the appearance of a flame with his shadow magic, uh... black fire is cool, right...

Also the pancakes are chocolate chip because Noah assumes that a) chocolate allergies aren't a thing and b) everyone likes chocolate chip pancakes!! And yes, he brought silverware and napkins.]

...so, uh, [just sets the plate down in front of him,] happy birthday, but not over the network thing this time.

[A very good idea! Kokichi's practically bouncing in his seat as Noah sets it all down, grinning widely.]

Anyway Noah goes ahead and decides that since he doesn't have access to fire, he'll just... mimic a candle flame with his magical shadows, because... it counts, right. People blow candles out on their birthdays here and make wishes, right? It totally counts as a wish if you wish on a non-melting candle with a swirly shadow on the wick, r...right...]

It's... [Noah waffles over trying to explain the technical details of it and just goes with,] ...I've been able to do something similar to this since I was a kid. I got pretty good at mimicking real things. Shadowy people, cats...

[His left arm is swirling with thin whorls of darkness as he's controlling the "fire". He'll mimic it getting extinguished should Kokichi choose to play along and blow it out, too.]
