[ They get in about five minutes after the chosen time, reaching up and tapping on the door of the home ec room before pushing it open halfway and peering inside. ]

Oh wow...hi Amami...are you really already here? [ They trot up behind him, leaning under his shoulder to peer at the fridge. ] Wow, there's a lot of stuff in here!

Right? Looks like someone beat us to a couple of the things I had my eye on, though.

( the woes of only having access to the single shared kitchen in a school. amami offers a glance and a smile over his shoulder, nodding to the fridge contents. )

Anything in here that you wanna try and use?

Komeada fed me meat already, so I don't need that again unless you want it.

[ That's the most numerous thing in the fridge...anything else. Crona struggles to remember if they have any actual opinions on food. They like pasta, do they remember what type they like. ] I like when pasta has butter on it...so we can use that?

Sorry, I don't really know a lot...do we know what kind of sauce its going to have? I like all kinds.

( why does "komaeda fed me meat" sound so suspect... amami trying hard not to make A Face, but maybe he'll have a talk with komaeda later. for now, he'll distract by thinking about the cooking, going on ahead to grab the butter. )

We can start simple with spaghetti. ( since it's a cheap type of pasta noodle you can find pretty easily — something flexible to start with. )

Usually that's got a kind of marinara sauce, so... do you like spicy, sweet, or both?

[ It's because Komeada should never be left unattended with small murdertweens! There was like, a whole spin-off game about that... ]

I don't really know but...Spicy things are kind of hard to deal with? [ They follow his line of sight, tapping their chin curiously. ] They make my mouth hurt. I don't really get why people like that stuff. You're supposed to avoid things that hurt!

[ So that, kind of counts as a preference. ]

Hmm, in that case, will you grab those for me? And that, too.

( handwaving ingredients because cooking is a mystery in reality. more importantly, the only named one in this tag is going to be the bag of sugar that amami's pulling out too, setting that aside on the counter alongside a few other things while he takes stock. at a cursory glance he figures it should be enough, so he speaks up, crossing one arm and gesturing absently with the other. )
