N-no, it's the whole club's... I have a few that I tend to personally, but everyone is raising at least one sprout. What's dendro...?

Soothing plants from hand is a work of art in itself, many people of my realm with the help of alchemy or other methods can spurn the growth of things in many ways. However, you merely are using your knowledge yes? That is a hard feat in itself.
no subject
( she guesses? ... is this lady from a jrpg- )
Well... yeah? I mean, some of it is written down on the seed packs, so that helps... s-so it's really not like that.
( accept the fucking compliment, nene. )
no subject
Seed packs? [ She thinks about her world memories of this place, a finger tapping at her chin. Introspection diving deeply. ] Right that's how this world works... Interesting, that any person can pick up gardening with enough of a passion for it. Yet, you still criticize yourself for being unworthy? I am not wasting my breath complimenting you, I only speak the truth after all. This is your handiwork? It is amazing, simply put.
[ She flips one of her pigtails, literally breathing: Bitch did I stutter? ]
no subject
... It's not just me working with these plants. And... ( when did she start being so hard on herself? jesus. she used to be so proud of her gardening. ) ... No, you're right. I'm sorry.
no subject
Apologizing now? [ Mona can see the girl seems hard on herself, a pity. There were times Mona over criticized her own studies. Found herself self conscious, but it was only because of her own teacher. How harsh they were to her, that made her inevitably become proud of her own work. Ones cruel pressures, truly turned her into a diamond. ] Don't worry about it, just promise me you wont turn someone's compliment into your own thoughts. I don't know much about gardening, but I see no branches deteriorating or any of these plants unhappy... That is to say, are you growing any foods actually?
no subject
We were given flowers and herbs, primarily- though we have one succulent that a few people are growing, and strawberry seeds. Those... I'm not sure when they'll be fruiting, actually.
no subject
Strawberries? [ You get that voice, where Mona squeaks excitedly. She rarely does it, but she does it here. Her hands clattering together and rubbing them promptly. ] Perfect, now if only I had my vision abilities. To think that I would want them, is a strange feeling in itself. Considering how nasty the water is here, and I can't even properly scry with such disgusting liquid. I can't imagine that the strawberries are happy drinking such water... Though I suppooose, the water wouldn't be that much of an issue for them.
no subject
( girl what would spirit sight do for strawberries- wait. no. it's. it's probably something else? blinking curiously, nene leans over just a bit. )
Ah- Y-yeah- it's... we still don't know how to fix that. But, you said scrying...? Like, the fortune telling thing? --Actually though, the plants seem to love it. ... Especially Hajime-nii's.
( hajime-nii's being the rather... large venus flytrap. ... it's fine. they're fine. dwbi. but also don't touch- )
no subject
[ Mona looks around the area to see the other plants. ]
Which one is this Hajimeniis plant?
no subject
( normally she would perk up curiously at fortune telling, astrology... but. she thinks of a wine red blanket, and a crystal ball, and stolen affection with teasing smiles.
she looks away for a moment. )
... Um. Just- just so you know, 'Nii' or 'nii-san' is an honorific, where I'm from. It means 'big brother'. But his is this one- ( nene gestures to the flytrap. ... it's been. docile? so far? but it is a bit bigger than usual, if you're familiar with them. does teyvat have venus flytraps- ) It's called a Venus flytrap. They're a carnivorous plant- if a bug gets stuck in the trap part, it basically... eats them? But not really.
no subject
Do they? I think the Gods of my world have all but closed their eyes to the world below them. Though I hear they sometimes live among us, I have yet to see that for myself.
[ It's okay Mona, you figured out Venti in the other roleplay group you are in. She settles upon the venus flytrap and sees herself interested. She takes note of the - meaning of honorifics... Sounds like an Inuzuma thing. All of this reminded her of their cultures in truth. Names and all. ]
Oh, can it eat spiders? Maybe it can eat the ones in that other room down the hall.
no subject
( nene i care you so much. thats my narration. thank you. )
Probably? I'll ask him about trying that when I see him next- I don't... I don't like messing with everyone's plants unless it's necessary.
no subject
I doubt you want to listen to me go on about the history of my world, it's too complex and with a lot of destruction for that matter. Following suit over every era.
[ Mona sighs wistfully. ]
Well, frankly. Maybe we can grow a few more of them, spider eating fiends. Truthfully, I was surprised to see such things crawling on the walls like that. [ She is thinking. ] They dont look edible like some of the ones in my realm.
no subject
... Miss? Miss, have- have you had to eat spiders?
( SHE'S CONCERNED? )
no subject
W-Well I mean yes? The ... W-well of course it probably is weird to you. I mean, on MY WORLD. [ She tries to play it off. ] There are these trees Irminsul exploration is an important part of Hexenzirkel culture. So the trees that burry deep in the roots of these domains often house interesting specimen - whether used in alchemy or otherwise. S-some of these erm.... Specimen make for a tasty meal and sometimes, you eat what it is you get.
[ SHES PANICKING. ]

after a moment, nene takes a watering can out from the little tool shelf to sprinkle everything with water for a moment, and then puts it back. then, she takes mona by the wrist and drags her out of the room. )
We, are getting you real, not spider food.
no subject
I am NOT!! Eating spiders right now! [ Mona says it low toward Nene leaning over. Why is this such a big ordeal? She is so embarrassed and tugged along. ] I had a very nice salad the other day I will let you know. In fact that is exactly all that I eat. I eat VERY well okay? [ NO SHE DOESNT. ]
nene on a mission... what will she do
We've got some rice, and fish... where's some veggies...
What veggies do you like?
... dfgsdf save mona apparently
[ Mona settles neatly on her chair now, watching the other drum about the area. She knows this place has been in use with the robotics club and is happy to see the area alive.... And not barren or estrange. ]
I enjoy mushrooms, but lettuce, tomatoes, anything of the sort. I make a mean salad myself truthfully.

( she doesn't say that mona doesn't have to repay this- that having something to do, someone to care for, anything to think about that isn't loss and hurt and horror is all that she needs. mona will figure it out herself just by watching her in the halls when she doesn't have anything like that, when hanako has to help her not walk into walls and doorframes.
instead, she just looks for a few more ingredients, and then she gets to work. the rice cooker's on, she has her knives and cutting boards. it shouldn't be too long. )

[ Mona observes idly, and maybe currently looking through her Astrology notes. Taking whim of Nene and her birthday that is avaible on the boards in their classrooms. ]
no subject
( it's one of the few things she can do without fail- her sight is borderline useless and her own hangups have made her more of a hinderance than anything, lately... she has to be better than that.
she will be better than that. )
If I have the skills... and the desire, why not? Y'know?
no subject
[ Her last sentence was said with some harshness to it, despite starting out fondly. ]
The woman was horrible at feeding herself, and if it wasn't for me I am sure she would be lost in how to shop for sales for that matter. That said, it takes a kind heart to put the time and effort into wanting to take care of others. Not something just anyone is capable of doing, you have my thanks and I will return the favor to you one day. It is the least that I can do.
