Just for the weekend, the classrooms 3-A and 3-B have been transformed into a host club and a maid cafe, respectively. The students are free to come and go as they please, as well as bring their parents, siblings and whoever else to come help raise funds for the dorms. The promotional poster hangs on the wall between the classrooms, its' artist unknown and left uncredited.

CLASSROOM 3-A

Aka the temporary home of a maid cafe. Decorated mostly in golds and blues, just for today, the students can indulge the illusion of being a Master and having some semblance of control in their lives.

The cafe serves coffee, tea, placebo love potions that taste like strawberry soda, omurice donated by the cooking club with an option to request a message written in ketchup, and a variety of sweets, including baked goods prepared by the transfer students. Some of our cute maids include Kaede, Nene, Natsume, Noah, and, for a very brief time, Rika — though she quickly leaves to tend to the love spell booth. A little far off from that happens to be the kissing booth, ran by Subaru and Komaeda, as well as the charm-selling booth ran by Natsume. Any treats the students offered up for sale will be displayed on a makeshift menu written down on the chalkboard, with slightly-exaggerated prices, because this is a fundraiser and we can't have people skimp out.

CLASSROOM 3-B

Next up, the host club, with Lucifer, Sara, Hinata, Komaeda, Hajun, Gundham and Subaru working in shifts to appease the picky tastes of any students who feel like becoming a refined Ojou-sama.

Just like the Maid cafe, the Host club offers a variety of foods donated by the students, with an additional option to order an alcohol-less champagne, which is really just bubbly soda served in a champagne glass. But, you know, for the realism... A bit further into the classroom, you'll find Gundham's cartomancy booth, as well as Shuichi's lost & found booth. You're free to request as many hosts as you want for the occasion, and make them drink as much of the bubbly soda as you wish, all for a price, of course — and if someone's stomach starts to hurt, well... that's why they take turns!

The festivities take part long before you enter either classroom, however...

Outside, you can find little Turing, who's all dressed up and eager to help and provide information about the boths, as well as our lovely Elizabeth, who, on top of making snow cones with her very fearsome persona, is offering quick-and-easy introductions for each maid and host, to make your choice that much simpler! Simply name whoever you're interested in, and you'll get to hear a witty line about them:

( he is absolutely correct, honestly. even when she wants to be treated like a princess, it feels like such a fantasy that when it does happen to her, she doesn't know what to do, or assumes it's a joke, or doesn't even realize it. even now she blinks, doe-like, before it actually hits her-- )

You wouldn't know... because you aren't the type to ask for what she wants, but that's not the type of conversation we should be having.

( he's going to sit down in a chair by her, making himself comfortable as he watches what shocked expression that she wears. the entire school already knows how she is, even the things that she does are enough to admit that she wouldn't be caught asking for anything straight out. if someone came to her though, he wonders if that's something she would accept easily, knowing that she can have affection that's given to her out of somebody else's willingness. )

How about... how was your day, Oujo-sama, I've missed seeing you.

( if she wasn't already... confused as all heck, she might flinch at the accusation. even... or perhaps, especially because it's ultimately true. her selfishness had caused her to get cursed, and now she was... mindful. too mindful. )

T-then... ( a moment's thought, and then she smiles sweetly- like the birthday party. how long ago was that...? it feels like forever. ) I was waiting to see you!

( — record scratch, that's kind of bold, but with the way he's been hosting throughout the day now, it doesn't sound wrong. )

( it was wrong to be near him? well that's no good, it sort of disappointing to hear her say that considering how long he's been waiting for her. let's be real, komaeda's heart doesn't wait for anyone, he does as he wants, but when you're afflicted with a love spell — the mind makes up too much, and now he's winging it. he won't feel offended for now, instead, he tries to keep his cool as he clears his throat. )

( she can answer that, but also, she could not because there is something off about him — he's able to say positive bits, and while he does treat himself better than the rest. )

( ... okay, what. this isn't right. shuffling a little closer in her seat, nene leans over to get a better look, concern evident in the twist of her brows. she's pretty sure he hasn't learned to be kinder to himself in the past couple months. )

Komaeda-san? Are you.. ( no. he's.. he's complimenting himself and stuff. he might say this is just fine. something's up. )

... I missed you. ( even though she shouldn't. even though he's not acting like himself. ) I've been worried, you know.

( even as she speaks- it may be the one chance she gets to say something honest, after all, even if it started under the guise of this host and lady role- she doesn't actually lean back away though. something's up... ... his eyes. they weren't-

( he places a hand to his chest, sighing dramatically as if the thought physically pains him. to think that nene could go on with her day without seeing komaeda, it must have been like hell on earth, and here he is... having to bring them together. his hand removes from his chest, resting in his lap as he keeps his eyes on her. )

and it's not exactly like she's wrong- once she took a step back, as the feelings of danger started to increase, he made it clear: she was unacceptable. he only dealt with her so no one else had to. there was no thinking about it- he didn't want her at all. the fact that he's focusing solely on him, even now, really only proves it.

but she's not going to say that. not while he's crafting this narrative- not while she doesn't know what disrupting it will do to him... or to her. )

Ah- ( hope. that's why he'd done what he did. did he believe that he succeeded? is that part of why he's acting like this? but he'd seemed so despondent at the meeting... ) I... I know that you care about others, in your own way. That's my favorite thing about you.

That's how it should be, but even though I give my time and attention to all of them, aren't you saddened that it isn't given to just you?

( as he thinks about it, she should be fighting for his love and affection, that anything he offers to someone else should be given to her. that's how wanted someone like komaeda is, or what this love drugged komaeda is like, because the regular one... the normal one would never go this far. it makes his actions feel unfamiliar, but he's trying to ground himself somewhere proper, and if it means to fumble around nene trying to find how their relationship is meant to work... then he will. that's what the plan is, but to him, he acts as if he's done this for awhile now — )

( as to what that means... it could be either of two things: komaeda treating her like an animal, or she should sit comfortably on the pedestal that he offered. )

( her place? what in the hell did that mean? especially as he's acting now...? because honestly, his definition of her place was pretty clear normally. even as her fingers curl around the fabric of her dress tightly, however, nene offers a smile. because despite everything, she means what she's going to say on some level. perhaps not as much as his addled mind would want, but. )
