player event: fundraiser
dorm fundraiser log
Just for the weekend, the classrooms 3-A and 3-B have been transformed into a host club and a maid cafe, respectively. The students are free to come and go as they please, as well as bring their parents, siblings and whoever else to come help raise funds for the dorms. The promotional poster hangs on the wall between the classrooms, its' artist unknown and left uncredited.
CLASSROOM 3-A
Aka the temporary home of a maid cafe. Decorated mostly in golds and blues, just for today, the students can indulge the illusion of being a Master and having some semblance of control in their lives.
The cafe serves coffee, tea, placebo love potions that taste like strawberry soda, omurice donated by the cooking club with an option to request a message written in ketchup, and a variety of sweets, including baked goods prepared by the transfer students. Some of our cute maids include Kaede, Nene, Natsume, Noah, and, for a very brief time, Rika — though she quickly leaves to tend to the love spell booth. A little far off from that happens to be the kissing booth, ran by Subaru and Komaeda, as well as the charm-selling booth ran by Natsume. Any treats the students offered up for sale will be displayed on a makeshift menu written down on the chalkboard, with slightly-exaggerated prices, because this is a fundraiser and we can't have people skimp out.
CLASSROOM 3-B
Next up, the host club, with Lucifer, Sara, Hinata, Komaeda, Hajun, Gundham and Subaru working in shifts to appease the picky tastes of any students who feel like becoming a refined Ojou-sama.
Just like the Maid cafe, the Host club offers a variety of foods donated by the students, with an additional option to order an alcohol-less champagne, which is really just bubbly soda served in a champagne glass. But, you know, for the realism... A bit further into the classroom, you'll find Gundham's cartomancy booth, as well as Shuichi's lost & found booth. You're free to request as many hosts as you want for the occasion, and make them drink as much of the bubbly soda as you wish, all for a price, of course — and if someone's stomach starts to hurt, well... that's why they take turns!
HALLWAY
The festivities take part long before you enter either classroom, however...
Outside, you can find little Turing, who's all dressed up and eager to help and provide information about the boths, as well as our lovely Elizabeth, who, on top of making snow cones with her very fearsome persona, is offering quick-and-easy introductions for each maid and host, to make your choice that much simpler! Simply name whoever you're interested in, and you'll get to hear a witty line about them:
Nene"A cute girl with a smile that's sure to heal your heart! The Sheep Among The Wolves, Nene Yashiro!"Kaede"There's no one better for a motherly, guiding touch! Our Lady of Passion, Kaede Akamatsu!"Natsume"Boys in skirts is certainly a bold choice for the year we're in, but if you can make it work... The Double-Crossing Crossdresser, Natsume Sakasaki!"Noah"Young but wise in the ways of love, this quiet boy offers an experience like no other! The Epitome of a Youthful Spring, Noah Ebalon!"Lucifer"Get lucky and you might just see his morning star rise! The Virtue of Patience, Lucifer!"Sara"She's serious and seriously not playing! The Hands-On Detective, Sara Chidouin!"Komaeda"The skin of a killer glitters with the light of hope! Despair's Friendly Foe, Nagito Komaeda!"Hinata"Even most normal-looking boys have something to offer! The Stand-Out Everyman, Hinata Hajime!"Hajun"You can't trust a man with looks this good, can you? The Octopus Trap of the Heart, Hajun Yeon!"Gundham"He's a friend to all things, living or dead! Yogen's Catastroprince of Ice, Gundham Tanaka!"Subaru"If you're feeling a little lonely tonight, why not make a wish on the first star you see? The Sparkling Knight of the Night Sky, Subaru Akehoshi!"
Well? Have you decided yet?
sparknotes
‣
All the maids and hosts come equipped with one (1) pair of cat ears and a set of clothes prepared by the sewing club, if you don't have your own attire.
‣
All the background people who are helping with the organizational stuff, as well as cooking, cleaning, etc, can feel free to wear the cat ears, too!
‣
Feel free to mingle, join in as a volunteer host/maid late, get dragged in to do work, leave your posts, whatever else you feel like doing, tbh.
‣
Cause too much trouble for anyone, though, and Rika's gonna come bonk you with her sword. Or Liz with Thanatos, whoever's there first.
‣
Any complaints can be directed to our offcial organizer, Ishimaru Kiyotaka. Bless his heart.

( it's not even that complicated, but, still... knowledge is power. can't have steph run around playing cupid? )
no subject
... I want the first one, but I don't have any money.
no subject
I'll take last time as a payment. ( she won't say it, but... you know, the... hug...
anyways!! )
Who do you want it cast on?
no subject
[she seems to think this makes sense.]
no subject
... ( rika looks a little at a loss, but... well, you know what? it doesn't hurt to try. she's not sure what'll happen, exactly, if she casts it with this kind of intent, but... a customer is a customer?
so she takes out the red candle prepared for it, along with her box cutter, and carves three runes into it, setting it on the flat surface. )
Okay, I'm gonna need you to hold my hand, and imagine Koma-kyun as the target, 'kay? ( with her free hand, she sprinkles some dried flower dust over the candle, and then reaches for stephanie, getting a lighter ready. )

the runes flash, and she nods, as the spell proceeds correctly. )
Now... think about Koma-kyun as... the requester, too. ( imagine two komaedas in a room holding hands, she guesses. honestly, she's not sure what effect this will have, but the spell is being cast, magic twirling around their arms, their bodies, rising high up in the air.
too late to cancel this now — whatever steph imagines will inevitably affect her target. good luck, komaeda... )

she opens her eyes once it's cast, grinning.] I hope that helps, even if it's just a little bit.
no subject
Ha... I doubt it, but... ( she lets go, and glances around, to see if komaeda's anywhere nearby. he doesn't appear to be in the room, though, so... godspeed to whoever has to deal with that shit now.
anyway. )
Oh, before you go... there's something else. ( she sighs, pushing a bottle of the placebo love potion towards stephanie. strawberry soda on the house. ) I spoke with Rocchi, and, I'll go ahead and tell you now that I didn't get to apologize on your behalf, sorry. Something urgent happened.
no subject
"Urgent?"
no subject
( she shakes her head — not what she wanted to talk about right now, so, she moves onto the next subject: )
I asked him what you told me to ask, though. He... said that he didn't trade his memories with the counselor. Rather... he's been here for so long they simply faded by themselves. I dunno if he was lying — he seemed sincere, but you can't really know with him.
no subject
I don't buy it. Their faces, maybe; you can be away from someone for so long that you don't really remember what they look like anymore. [clearly spoken from experience.] But, not names. Not of family. That's too important to fade.
He is one of the liars, though. At least, he tries to be. So, there is that to consider.
no subject
( she considers this, for a moment, and looks up. )
I didn't get to ask whether that goes for all third years, though... but if it does, then we're on a serious time limit.
no subject
... How many of us are third years? I'm a second year.
no subject
( she glances towards the room — amami's the first one she thinks of, but there's a bunch of others, too. )
I dunno if we can trust either side on this, but I guess if you've been here long enough, the school's just like, 'fuck that, this idiot's not graduating anyway.'
no subject
... Well. I know I'll never graduate from here. That really narrows down my options.
no subject
( why is she still in first grade? and if third years are going to disappear, does that mean it's better to repeat years than to graduate? hm. )
Well, you moved up a grade, right? So maybe you're doing something right. ... or wrong. I dunno about this whole graduation business anymore.
no subject
... Do you ever think about how the girl that graduated, when we woke up, didn't have an arm? [because she does!]
no subject
( not necessarily murder, but... honestly, thinking about this stuff gives her a headache, when everyone's being so damn cryptic. )
Huh? Oh yeah... ( ... she totally forgot about that?? ) Do you think she lost it graduating?
no subject
The nurse said she was "competitive." [she pulls down her sleeve, looking at her tally mark.] Maybe she didn't wanna remember just how competitive she was.
no subject
( wtf... the nurse was so nice?? )
