dorm fundraiser log
Just for the weekend, the classrooms 3-A and 3-B have been transformed into a host club and a maid cafe, respectively. The students are free to come and go as they please, as well as bring their parents, siblings and whoever else to come help raise funds for the dorms. The promotional poster hangs on the wall between the classrooms, its' artist unknown and left uncredited.
CLASSROOM 3-A
Aka the temporary home of a maid cafe. Decorated mostly in golds and blues, just for today, the students can indulge the illusion of being a Master and having some semblance of control in their lives.
The cafe serves coffee, tea, placebo love potions that taste like strawberry soda, omurice donated by the cooking club with an option to request a message written in ketchup, and a variety of sweets, including baked goods prepared by the transfer students. Some of our cute maids include Kaede, Nene, Natsume, Noah, and, for a very brief time, Rika — though she quickly leaves to tend to the love spell booth. A little far off from that happens to be the kissing booth, ran by Subaru and Komaeda, as well as the charm-selling booth ran by Natsume. Any treats the students offered up for sale will be displayed on a makeshift menu written down on the chalkboard, with slightly-exaggerated prices, because this is a fundraiser and we can't have people skimp out.
CLASSROOM 3-B
Next up, the host club, with Lucifer, Sara, Hinata, Komaeda, Hajun, Gundham and Subaru working in shifts to appease the picky tastes of any students who feel like becoming a refined Ojou-sama.
Just like the Maid cafe, the Host club offers a variety of foods donated by the students, with an additional option to order an alcohol-less champagne, which is really just bubbly soda served in a champagne glass. But, you know, for the realism... A bit further into the classroom, you'll find Gundham's cartomancy booth, as well as Shuichi's lost & found booth. You're free to request as many hosts as you want for the occasion, and make them drink as much of the bubbly soda as you wish, all for a price, of course — and if someone's stomach starts to hurt, well... that's why they take turns!

The festivities take part long before you enter either classroom, however...
Outside, you can find little Turing, who's all dressed up and eager to help and provide information about the boths, as well as our lovely Elizabeth, who, on top of making snow cones with her very fearsome persona, is offering quick-and-easy introductions for each maid and host, to make your choice that much simpler! Simply name whoever you're interested in, and you'll get to hear a witty line about them:

All the maids and hosts come equipped with one (1) pair of cat ears and a set of clothes prepared by the sewing club, if you don't have your own attire.

All the background people who are helping with the organizational stuff, as well as cooking, cleaning, etc, can feel free to wear the cat ears, too!

Feel free to mingle, join in as a volunteer host/maid late, get dragged in to do work, leave your posts, whatever else you feel like doing, tbh.

Octopus Trap of the Heart, I've heard you've been handling our guests rather well.
( he flips through a few more note cards, trying to find one that stands out to him, but some are a little out there — just like him. what he has is a gift from a customer he's recently engaged with, and was told these would make the best little icebreakers. his thoughts wander to and fro, wondering if it'd have any affect on anyone that hears them, so he believes that running them through someone as normal as other untalenteds, but one that caught their attention would be the deciding factor. )
I wanted your opinion on the quality of these cards, I was wondering if Hinata-kun could make use of these.

Despair's Friendly Foe, I heard that you've been a joy to be with.
[ And he's not even being sarcastic. So far there have not been any complaints; thankful, considering the last thing we need is someone unsatisfied to spread any false accusations. They need those fucking dorms.
Hajun sits with one leg swung over the other, his fingers laced together and resting against his knee as he watches the cards flip expertly in the other's hands. Snug on his finger is his phantometal, his comfort, and while he has no need for it here (hopefully) it's something he doesn't want to take off. ]
You may just have better luck tossing Hinata-kun right into the fire, to be honest. I'm not a fan of most card games unless it includes alcohol.

( there's also the fact that since this is ran by ishimaru, as a fellow ultimate, komaeda has to keep himself in check, even if he doesn't want to. he doesn't have to listen to the people who talks to him, and to be honest, he's been pretty dazed, looking off into the distance, and then replying with some sweet remark to avoid getting in trouble. he's been pretty lucky given the fact that no one was offended. )
Hinata-kun can do that alone, unfortunately, but he seems to be getting along with the people around here —
( luckily for the women out there, hinata's the topic so they've been spared from having them talked about — now as for hinata, it's up in the air how this goes. for now, he continues to shift through the cards that he has in hand, each one having a sentence written on it is more unique than the rest. he places one card on the table, sliding it over to hajun so that he can read the contents of it.
it almost looks like a joke, but komaeda's pretty serious as he continues. )

Haha. [ Hajun laughs, bringing up a hand. ] Sorry, but for a minute you almost sounded jealous -- maybe you are, actually.
[ That said, his attention is drawn to the card slid over to his side of the table. His lips are pulled into a grin, looking over the card after he's reached and picked it up for himself --
And, almost immediately, his face drops. His brows raise. He even goes the extra mile of lifting his glasses off the bridge of his nose and placing them back down, like there's a smudge he couldn't see that's making the question confusing. But instead he's hit with the reality that this is... ]

( he hums, watching hajun to get a feel for him, or well... some sort of aura about his person on whether his hope is huge, or insignificant like some people here. komaeda doesn't have to be silent as he does this, but he's focusing, coming to a conclusion, and his eyes widen a bit before he looks off to the side. what happens to be his answer? well, he doesn't say a thing because what he says next is throwing him off.
he sounds... jealous? woah! wait a minute! him, jealous? of who? of WHAT? that's when he looks back over, partying his mouth. )
Do I...? I wouldn't say that... I can't be jealous of someone who lacks talent at the moment. ( hajun may not understand, but komaeda will educate him if he's willing to listen. he thinks about doing so as the other is looking the card over, maybe it is adequate enough to be used by hinata. even the lift of the glasses is enough to put a positive notion in his mind, nodding afterwards, and...

If he's completely normal then he's likely oblivious, so if your intentions are confusing him until he confesses his feelings to you in some way I think you should just be forward. [ Is Hajun sincerely cheering him on or making a joke out of this. It's definitely the latter, cause he loves laughing at people trying their best and failing, so yeah! ] But he's probably straight.

( listen! he's not trying to win him over or anything, that is a little hard to do when hinata has so much on his mind — like hating komaeda. they've been real life oomfs for awhile, and it would be horrible to ruin that. )
