July mini-event
07/21
There's a crash from downstairs, the sound of metal on metal as elevator doors are wrenched open on the ground floor and somebody steps out through them, barging out the door and leaving footprints of bright, wet red in their wake. They make their way past the lockers, past the remains of a laptop with its shattered screen and scattered keys, and grip the handles to the front doors.
The doors do not open. The handles will sooner snap off than budge— and snap off they do, tossed aside and sent clattering across the floor.

The bullet hits them and they freeze, then shudder, then spasm violently. Their eye flickers, briefly going back to its usual calm blue as they begin a few stuttering motions of a dance people from more typical Earth type settings might recognize as the robot, except in this case it's more like the badly broken robot that clearly has something wrong with its programming.

The light sputters back to that eerie yellow hue, and their next start and stop movement is punctuated with a kick.)

While Legion is busy showing off their moves, Add fiddles with the settings on the gun. It has some other features, right? It's not his gun so he only has half a clue how it works, but whatever, he's switching to the detect bullet to try and scan Legion with the light cone in case something turns up—
unfortunately, this decision leaves him open when the geth breaks out of the dance-induced stun much quicker than anticipated. Add manages to swing the gun out of harm's way in time, but the rest of his body... not so much. He takes that kick square in the chest, the hacking gun flying out of his hands and skidding into the hallway, out of reach. Add staggers back towards the lockers, temporarily winded.]

Really though, that should be obvious-why else would Legion fly off the handle like this?
Now that Add is, at least for the moment, no longer in their way, they proceed to, with jerking, spasmodic movements, turn their attention back to the door. Their eye light flickers again, and they do a little pirouette before kicking it, hard. There's a little crunching noise, and a spurt of blood-one of those incredibly dextrous tiny joints seems to have been damaged by this maneuver. Their body shudders again, warring between the contrasting commands placed upon it, and another nasty little sound comes from somewhere within their torso.)

But he's being totally ignored over here, so he has plenty of time to catch his breath. He's still wheezing a bit as he trudges out into the hall, retrieves the gun, and turns back towards Legion.] Try and underestimate me, will you? Fine, then I'll make you listen to me, and you're going to keep listening until one of your idiot programs pulls itself together!
[how much of a charge does this thing have?? who fucking knows, but he's just gonna keep shooting Legion with the dance beam until he stops slamming himself against the doors. now would be a GREAT time for some backup to arrive...]

The gun doesn't seem to have an further effect ... or does it? Legion's shuddering dancing movements are becoming increasingly graceless. They do not quite have the motor control to step back and leap, throwing all their weight at the door, as they did earlier, and instead simply repeatedly slam against it. An awful whining noise has started up inside their body.
Blood, or the Geth equivalent, is streaming from several places now.)

Lucifer approaches, wings outstretched in what is ostensibly a birdlike display of intimidation, and glowing a bright purple, recites a spell:]
I call upon the forces of the Earth; may it bind the Geth before me, preventing further harm to them. I am Lucifer, Avatar of Pride — hear my command!
[And with that, the Earth doesn't exactly move per say, but a glowing binding circle appears under Legion's feet and attempts to snag them. It's a simple binding spell, so they'll still be able to talk, but should the spell work it will hopefully prevent them from flinging themselves into the door for a bit.
this is legitimately how spells in Obey Me are written guys I hate it here]no subject
...At least until he binds them.
They thrash against the sudden restriction, spasming violently. The compulsion to dance and the need to escape war within them, and well, he might have prevented them from breaking themselves against the door, but that does nothing, in the end, to protect them from harm.
They're shaking uncontrollably now, blood leaking out from various places. There's a smell of melting, burning plastic on the air.)

Too much strain on the body. Damage is already severe—Lucifer, can you remove whatever is possessing them? I can give us extra time, but not by much.
[He can use the Seal of Time, but it can't undo the damage that's already been done—and he could, in theory, repair that damage, but he can't do that while Legion is thrashing about. It all comes down to how quickly they can expel the spirit, and if they have the means to stabilize the geth's condition. The most he can add to that is a handful of seconds.
But he still has to try... Add focuses, a blue aura expanding out from around him to wash over Legion, the faint ticking of a clock ringing through the air as it fades. If Legions dies... they get one redo from here, and that'll be it.]
