August Event
Please let August be better than July I'm begging
✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the storeis currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

( he slides it to the other, waiting for them to open it up. )
Hm... we should play a game too, so... ( cough. ) ... we can enjoy it even more.
no subject
That's fine. npc-kun takes the packet and opens it up on both ends and also along the side, so that the wrapping lays flat on the table to catch any stray nori bits that fall off.
... ]
What kind of game?
no subject
...Hm, how about 21 Questions; I'm actually a fan of it.
( he'll reach for one of the noris, raising his hand to dip it into the pitcher so it coats the sheet. )
no subject
Oh! I know that game! I'll go first—-
[ ...
...
... ]
Alright. Go ahead and guess.

No.
no subject
You want me to leave?
no subject
No. That's not a thing. Don't you know how to play this game?
no subject
I guess two times, and now I have 19 more tries?
no subject
Yep, that's right! Keep going! Do your best!
no subject
You're wearing his ring, do you like it?
( stares... )
no subject
You can't have it.
no subject
( he can't have it? well, did he ask for it? komaeda is familiar with the item, he knows every little thing an ultimate wears... he even knows what socks amami would have wore today if he was here.
sighs wistfully. )
He pays attention to you, huh...
( he's not jealous... just curious. )
no subject
Yeah...? I'm awesome. Everybody should be paying attention to me.
no subject
He's an Ultimate, a person who embodies so much hope that'll mold our future...
( he settles his elbow on the table, resting his chin in the palm. )
It's surprising you have that...
sighs that this is the first time i get to use this icon
[ They'll say it again through gritted teeth, even though Komaeda never asked. Because when the implication is that they're undeserving of it, and he's wrong— it was a legitimate business transaction, agreed to by both parties, and they're not giving it back even if Amami comes up with real money in exchange. ]
we have to make sure you use it more often they're sooo CUUUTE
( his voice is light and carefree, smiling softly as he looks at the other. he kind of wishes he could still see the ring, it looks nice. he clears his throat, closing his eyes. )
Take care of it... something from an Ultimate is special, and from him... I can sense good things.
( sighs wistfully. )
no subject
I'm going to treasure it forever... You don't have to tell me.
no subject
Not everyone can be in an Ultimate's light, and to have a keepsake...
( he stands, leaning over the table. )
Make sure your wedding finger free.
no subject
[ They blink in surprise when Komaeda leans in, but doesn't pull back themselves.
... ]
I tried with this one but it's too big. I'd lose it.
no subject
( he sighs, a little sad, now he's going to push their nori off the table... like the fat cat with the glass. )
