give your friends a surprise
Who: EVERYONE
What: FAMILY MEETING
When: 8/4, right after school closes.
Where: Student council room
Warnings: Eventually, probably.
["If my friends back home were acting like this, I would've already locked them in a room and forced them to figure out their feelings."
the job puts all of her considerable superspy skills to the test. she knows where every normal kid's locker is; it's easy enough to slip the note into each that morning. if it's someone who she knows would be unable to read the note, she tells them its contents, but keeps her own involvement out of it. lies of omission don't count.
the note reads:]
I have very important information about this place. Please come to the student council room after school ends today.
- Nao Sato
[and if the text looks just a bit girlier than you'd think she'd write, hey, you don't know her. she's got layers.
either way, it's a pretty interesting proposition: the student council room door is, for the first time in seemingly ever, wide open. anyone can walk inside - and, hopefully, most everyone should. because it's only when Stephanie thinks that she's got enough of them inside that she actually enters the room, shutting the door behind her.
click.
it locks. she grins, spins the key on her finger, and slips it into her pocket.
"How are you supposed to do that with grownups?"
the exact same way, she's decided.]
We haven't had any meetings since, um. Well. The last one. But, I'm pretty sure nobody has no more murders to report, so it shouldn't be too bad, and we can all just focus on the most important task: Getting along! All of us are on the same team, but most of us barely even know each other; some of us even hate some of the others! [SHE SAYS, LIKE SHE DOESN'T ACTIVELY DESPISE KOKICHI] So, I figured we could spend the evening fixing that problem. Play some games, talk about stuff we've discovered since the last time...
And, maybe, if everybody does a really good job, I'll unlock the door!

( SHE SEES YOUR STRUGGLE, YUZU. GARDENING CLUB PRESIDENT IS HERE TO HELP- kinda. )

[ She sort of... blurts that out. Even if she's getting used to this place, it's still a lot of stress on her poor mind. Still, she recognizes Nene from the gardening club, so after that brief and small outburst, she takes a deep breath and sighs. ]
Sorry, I know you probably can't answer that...

Because it's important for us to talk about our feelings before we go off and do something rash like, say, murdering a girl because we feel like there aren't any other choices for us to MAKE.
( he's helping. )

[SMILING SMUGLY right at helena. she knows she can't see it.]

...Adams-san probably did have a point about making certain we had time to step away from a situation THOUGH, Stephanie-chan. It's only time that made it easier to talk to me about the things I did, wasn't IT?

But you wouldn't have felt like talking to me or working things out right after that meeTING, would YOU? ( ... ) I won't deny putting people into a tight situation like this isn't helpFUL, but spending time away from what's frustrating us helps our minds to clear and work through our THOUGHTS. You left the meeting early, BUT...
( he hesitates, just briefly, but continues on, voice gentler. )
When Little Viper heard I'd killed Kudo-chan, she tried to kill ME. Saihara-kun took the blow of his own acCORD, but there was no way she would have wanted to talk to me or sort things out while her emotions were running that HIGH. ( for a while after that, too. ) We worked things out... eventualLY.
( in a way. she won't try to kill him unless he hurt someone again, and he's already ? trying ? to not just go off and do his own thing, so it'll be okay, probably. )
I think she would have killed me if it'd been any time sooner than when we talked properly face-to-face THOUGH, considering how she went after me on the foRUMS.

You're really not convincing me on not locking people in rooms to solve problems, considering how not doing that meant I had no idea my classmate was stabbed until right now!
no subject
It might be causing some conflict, though... and if a fight breaks out and nobody can leave...
no subject
Good.

[ If things get stressful, she'd rather they walk out instead of throwing a punch! Is she being unreasonable? Is Yuzu the unreasonable one here!? ]

( DID WE JUST ALL AGREE NOT TO TELL HER.......... )
My apoloGIES. Do you want to know the rest of the stoRY, or is this eNOUGH? There isn't too much after that outside of Liar-kun wondering what they should do with Komaeda-san and I, since Hyde-san was more than happy to try and get everyone's attentions with who he KILLED. ( hyde-san... good try. ) Elizabeth-san healed Saihara-kun with some sort of monster TOO, so it was FINE. Everyone just didn't want anything to do with me for a WHILE, considering we expect the worst out of Komaeda-san but not out of charMING, good-looking young MEN.
( please shut up natsume )
...RegardLESS, I'm sorry for not saying anything sooNER, not that I think it would've HELPED.
( also: he was trying to avoid people who didn't want anything to do with him anyway so okay yknow )

... Stephanie-chan is doing her best. But... ( ten year olds are wildin on power. ) She's still got a certain view of the world. A-and sometimes it's good, and sometimes...
We get this.

Yuzu frowns a bit, but she gets it... she'd been fairly depressed for a while and was only now smacking her cheeks and getting herself together. Still, with how things are here, it's hard to stay positive.
Still, at the very least, most of her earlier nervousness isn't as apparent now. Exasperation does that to you. ]
Yeah, I get it...
[ She takes a deep breath, calming herself down. ]
You're Nene, from the gardening club, right?
no subject
no subject
[ Well, Nene might know that already... but this was their first time really talking, so she figures she should introduce herself properly, you know? ]
no subject
( grief is hard, july was harder- )
But I'm glad to have you in the club.
no subject
[ July was definitely hard... though all of Yuzu's time spent here has been on the rough side of things. ]
I'm hoping to start helping out more, so... if there's anything I can help with, let me know?
