ethics...club...
Who: the ethics club and whoever wants to crash their party
When: whenever in august!
What: just a mingle post for the disasters
Warnings: uhhh...........well there's a bunch of problematic people here probably, so we'll see how this goes. will update.
The "ethics" club isn't really that well furnished so far. So far, there's only a few things -- things that only Josh is able to access, as well as a dart board, a cheap (and faulty) polygraph machine, and a button maker?
Well, the other members will have to make those. But he does have a certain design for it, if someone was interested in ""helping"" him make the pins...
Otherwise, Joshua's probably usually in here, in classroom 2-D, and he won't turn anyone away. He might warn of anyone coming in of their eccentric group, but he doesn't really mind either way.
But there are papers spread around, not that he really wants to do the work of ensuring that his club stays open, but he figures there's no use in just ignoring it. So there's probably going to be some reports to go through on the papers, or something that could be defined as work.
Loosely.
There's a folder on the desk he'd moved next to the door which holds the topic of the month on it for whoever comes into the room:
good and evil: how do you spot the difference? Do those lines truly exist?
He's very interested in what people would say about it.

[ Not the invite.........
Honestly, Dito's probably half here because Zero is also here, and he has a tendency to drift wherever Zero goes. Also he is kind of interested in Joshua, if only because the other humored him with his goreposting, even if he doesn't trust the dude as far as he can throw him.
In any case, there are two points of interest that attract Dito.
One being the messy pile of papers spread about everywhere -- it makes him wrinkle his nose. It's not his problem, but it does irritate him slightly. He doesn't give a shit, but he can't help thinking about how it would never look like this if it were his paperwork, akin to what he did for Five.
Not that he's ever doing that shit again. So he scoffs, pulling out a nearby chair to sit in unceremoniously before tossing both of his boots up on the table, crossing his legs slightly as he throws his hands behind his head. ]
This place is a fuckin' mess.
[ You're not helping anything, Dito... ]
𝟬𝟮. )
[ This doubles as the wildcard option.
But also Dito can be found hovering around the dart board, experimentally pulling out one of the darts from said board and poking it against the tip of his finger, as if to test how sharp it is.
It would be so fun to do something else with them, he almost considers stealing a few here. Piercing things is fun, after all. ]
1.
[which is Helena's true barometer for things, though it being difficult to find anything is a bit trying. the stranger's voice sounds suitably annoyed, but she's in a decent mood, and a little mess won't alter that. instead she's still checking out the room, wondering what exactly an ethics club in a high school is supposed to be doing.]
no subject
Sure. Knock yourself out. Bet it's all bullshit, though.
[ The club, that is. But he doesn't really bother elaborating to the newcomer. ]
no subject
confusion tugs her lips into a frown, though she tries to not let it get too much under her skin.]
...What actually happens here, if I may ask?
[her hand touches the edges of the papers, but they're useless. just scattered artifacts for now.]
no subject
dito raises a brow, almost taken aback by her question. but then again, he hasn't seen her around before. and he knows a lot of people, both from those "school memories" as well as his time spent here in a completely lucid state.
he frowns. ]
You really don't know?
[ he shoves his foot against the edge of the table, pushing his chair he's seated in back a few inches, like he might stand up any second now. he only ends up tilting his head at the other though, slinging his right arm over the same armrest he's got the left on in a lackadaisical move. ]
Aren't you cute. [ a pause, and the corner of his mouth turns up in amusement. ]
It's death. Death or killing, probably. Did you get an invite? 'Cuz the guys running this place are insane...
[ he accentuates for a second, like he might be against it. before he ends up being unable to hold back a short laugh as he tacks on: ]
-- I love it!!

death or killing. and here she had thought in a group it would be easier to escape, to hold it off for a while. surely all that's not necessary is on the tip of her tongue, and she holds her cane just a bit closer, as if it will do something to ward off ill.]
...Well then.
[what else is she supposed to say to that? a fraction of a step back, uncertain whether she should try to go or if this can just be dealt with. why, why, why did it feel like there wasn't a moment without death hanging over her head? not again. not in life and not in poetry.]
I wasn't aware of that. The door was just open, after all.
[no invitation. only curiosity, that killed the cat.]
no subject
[ Is it that surprising that a club or two would be like this, too? Or that people's intentions aren't the greatest when a stench of death almost maintains permanence in a place like this.
Not that Dito's complaining. He's probably one of the few, which is a little irritating in the sense that the majority of people here won't open up to how insane and great all of this is, but it's whatever. More people to play with, he supposes. ]
Are you one of those herbivore types?
[ It's kind of obvious, but he'll ask anyway. ]
no subject
[real talk, though, the school is better than before. the school doesn't have the same cycles. she hasn't heard a killer at her back, felt the pain of their blows, and had to work through it. it's an improvement, and so she can lie to herself for a moment and think it's not the same at all.]
no subject
[ he kind of whines on the words, annoyed at having to explain. whatever.
he waves a hand dismissively at the comment, as if to shoo away the annoyance. even though he's going ahead and explaining anyway: ]
Like the kind of person that's just prey, duh.
no subject
calm, calm. this is not where she was. to keep that concealed will be her greatest feat. no one yet was hanging any of a number of ways to die over her head. her heart remains in her chest.]
That's not who I am either.
[to her credit, she keeps her voice even.]

except he is interested with him, and how his mind works...]
I'll know if you try to walk off with them, you know.
[He's just saying...]
If you do, at least tell me what you'll do with them.
no subject
What do you think I'm gonna do with them?
[ It's not like Dito's interests aren't just out there in the open. Although darts themselves aren't exactly handy for a weapon, but they'd be fun to stick in orifices and cause a lot of pain with.
It's just his sadism at play more than any practicality.
Does it even matter if Joshua knows if he walks off with them? Not really. So he just ignores the comment. ]
no subject
I never know with you, I'm still getting to know you...
[he just wants to hear about all the ways Dito's going to use it, you know.]
Who knows? I might just let you take them if you can provide me a good enough reason to use them.
no subject
[ That's cute.
He rolls his eyes, stabbing the dart back into the board a little harder than necessary before he turns back to regard Josh with narrowed eyes. ]
It's not like I even need a micro version when I've got my spear.
[ He's just browsing, okay. ]
no subject
[Dito's a hothead, isn't he?
Not that he hasn't dealt with people like that before or anything.]
You seemed interested before I came along, anyway.
no subject
Dito sighs, wondering if he should just go ahead and try stabbing Joshua right now with the dart in his hand.
... He thinks about it. ]
I don't need them... But it'd be pretty interesting to jam one in somebody's eye, don't you think? Ah-hahaha...
[ He's fantasizing now. ]
no subject
it's such bullshit on his end.]
That seems like a very viable option. Got anyone in mind?
[it better not be him.]
