outdoor survival club
A catch-all for all your camping and camping-related activity needs. By the end of the month, proof of club activity is required — demos, photos and anything else that can prove they've been active is welcome, so it's time to make their club advisor jealous everyone all planned a "camping trip" without them or something.

( maybe not for him, but it's one way.
it's just a little too... romantic, expanding your world like a small town girl who wants to move to the big city, or something. and amami doesn't feel romantic when he paces through the school, or when he goes to the highest floor just to look out the windows and see if, maybe this time, he can see something different on the horizon. something beyond it. he doesn't feel romantic — he feels desperate. but he can't very well say that, so he'll wave the thoughts away with his hand. )
And even if it's only you, it must have been pretty distracting. I'll see about toning it down.
( he's gonna start pacing in kamo-kun's shop from now on. )

[she's used to so much, after all. the crackle of fire, the shuffle of boots, the shift of furniture. muffled curses and heavy doors, the drag of silverware across plates. a thousand hidden signs that everyone felt the same storm in them as they did, with the rattle of the windows when a storm set in.
one person's pacing is almost repetitive enough to be familiar.]

( it's just a stress response, and you know what? it's probably better for him to linger less on how stressed out he is, limit it how he can and put that time towards something productive instead. )
Oh, don't get me wrong though, I appreciate the thought. I'll keep that in mind for other things.
( he won't. )

[there's the vague sense that it's not entirely alright, but she won't voice any of that. instead, she'll work on another knot, trying to tug the end of the string through the right loop. it's not entirely easy, though.]

That type can be tricky, huh. ( there's like, harder knots and easier knots, right? that's a thing, isn't it? ) What were you thinking of using it for?

[this is honest, purely.]
