It's a lazy Sunday, late afternoon with the sun making its way down for the day and no longer shining directly overhead the pool building, lights on inside but only to the hour. For those still in the water this late, they may consider getting out soon so they can dry off and get dressed before they're forced to do it in the dark.

Or maybe they should get out now, because in the deep end, something large and dark is slowly making its way up from the depths.

✽ Hikaru can initially be found exiting the pool building yelling for Lucifer-senpai, and will run to the dorms yelling for Lucifer-senpai, if your character needs a reason to go to the pool building

There is something large and black inside the water, deep enough that somebody would have to dive to reach it. It might be stabbable? Try it and see.

Oh, so its not attacking! Yay! Well Crona isn't usually the jerk who stabs first, but they also really can't deal with awful, horrible shapes in their pool, so they're going to wave to Nene and then hold their breath and let themselves sink a bit (hopefully missing whatever canonball Rika is going to make...worse then any monster.)

If they open their eyes, do they see anything?

They open their eyes and find that it's deep enough that the light barely reaches. Maybe the water looks a little grimier down here, maybe it's their imagination.

They stick their tongue out :P how does the water taste, if it looks super grimy gross?

Can they see the dark shape and Rika from down here?

It tastes super grimy gross. The saltwater overpowers everything, but they (or anybody brave enough with sensitive taste buds) can taste something bitter and something ???bloody

They can see the dark shape and Rika! actually, it looks like she's coming up with it

Hmmm maybe they'll taste it again just to be sure... Something bitter, on a second pass, can they figure out if it tastes like anything they'd recognize? Crona's eaten a lot of weird things...

Still, they're going to swim up and stick their head up above the water just in time to see Akira stab Rika.

It tastes like... ig it tastes like when I cook and leave something on the stove and walk away for half and hour and forget I'm cooking and I come back and everything's black but I'm hungry so I scrape it off anywhere and eat it. It also tastes like blood.
