It's a lazy Sunday, late afternoon with the sun making its way down for the day and no longer shining directly overhead the pool building, lights on inside but only to the hour. For those still in the water this late, they may consider getting out soon so they can dry off and get dressed before they're forced to do it in the dark.

Or maybe they should get out now, because in the deep end, something large and dark is slowly making its way up from the depths.

She sees the large black whatever slowly rising up from the depths, but not all the way up to the surface. It'll take a short dive to reach it, and it doesn't seem to be rising any higher, as if biding its time and seeing who comes.

There is something large and black inside the water, deep enough that somebody would have to dive to reach it. It might be stabbable? Try it and see.

Rika jumps into the water and approaches the black whatever, though it's deep enough that there is much less light to be able to see. It's kind of an amorphous black at first glance. Does she touch it? stab it?

01. Is there anything out of place, like wet footprints that go somewhere that isn't out the pool area? Anything that indicates that there's something off nearby... any lockers fucked up?

02. Komaeda broke off the the hand of his severed arm to keep, so can he throw the rest of the arm into the pool... does something happen... helping out the homies who are at the pool.

There are some wet footprints around, but also the tile is wet in general and that wetness remains inside the pool area/showers/actually if they're here early enough they might be able to see Hikaru's footprints as they ran outside barefoot.

None of the lockers are fucked up. Most are open and empty, while some are closed and locked by whoever brought their own lock and key to secure their personal belongings while swimming.

The severed arm sinks... and sinks... and sinks... It disappears into the depths of the pool.

It doesn't respond... in a way that he can hear. It's down pretty far anyways, and water doesn't carry sound quite as well as air does.

Action: looking for something to punch... though he'll probably look for a stick or a leaf net to ram it into that black figure

Akira can find one of those telescoping pool cleaning poles to ram into the black figure, and his opportunity comes when Rika lugs it out of the water. Depending on how hard he stabs and whether Rika is able to get it onto the tile before he stabs it, the pole pierces and goes through— and when he pulls it out, it's red and bloody.

Action: Hey it's that kid from his class, soaking wet, barefoot, somewhere between the pool building and the dorm. Since clearly Lucifer-senpai is on the way, can Aira look at them like they're insane and ask what happened.

Hikaru is soaking wet, barefoot, somewhere between the pool building and the dorm just sort of breathing hard from running around and looking a little pale. Aira looks at them like they're insane and they say there's a monster in the pool

Action: so. now we're in the void. what does pool void look like. does nene see anything special. and has the Thing become more visible/clear as to what it is yet

Rika's blood falls to the ground and the building turns dark, as if the sun itself had been snuffed out. For those whose eyes are able to adjust quickly, they'll see that the water in the pool has been replaced with mud, thick and goopy and ...moving... thick fat worms squirm around the mud, centipedes scuttle around the edges where the mud's dried into dirt, beetles take off into the air at the sudden appearance of so many guests

and by guests I don't mean everybody here. I mean the shadows of students that start to come through the main door, drawn to the Thing that looks like a black lump upon the ground.

Location: Girls' changing rooms/lockers in regular school
Action: everything happens so much? she just came back to get something from a locker and people are hollering and bleeding and bugs...might as well try to investigate a little and see if anything peculiar's around.

Everything's happening a lot... While everybody's doing whatever, Helena approaches the lockers and she will be able to smell the same things Subaru does: lots of cleaning solution having recently been used, masking the smell of smoke and plant. Most of this smell seems to be concentrated in the boy's side of the building, but she can also smell it by one locker in particular. If she's visited the pool often, she may recall that the door to this particular locker is always locked, claimed, but nobody is ever seen using it.

Action: Glad it's out of the water because otherwise we wouldn't be here right now. He's going to give it a very thorough look up and down, turning it over and such; he knows Nene's a strong girl but she's still pretty squeamy so he's just doublechecking her work, along with trying to see if like... oh, if there's any initials or things like that on the robe, too. why did yall steal a jawwwwwwwww

If he can't spend too long looking at the body, that's okay, because it's too hard to make anything about with the state that it's in: charred beyond recognition, all the way to the bone, not the surface level burns of somebody who'd gotten caught on fire by accident and threw themselves in the pool to put it out.

Revisiting the robe Nene laid out on the ground, that Nene probably would have also noticed but I missed it in my notes but anyways, the robe itself doesn't look burned, but the bottom is torn, coinciding with the missing lower half of the body. Where it's torn, it had torn a hole through one of the pockets— anything small inside seems to have fallen out, lost to whatever waits at the bottom of the pool, but there are two or three larger rocks left inside that don't fit through the hole and so weren't lost.

Action: so if he looks at these glasses, and as aware as he is of his surroundings, do they look familiar... and what's the time on the watch, is it broken to that it's stuck on one time?

They look like a normal pair of glasses, black with a thin frame, kind of like Akki's normal very common glasses. The watch is also plain black, something like this that tells not only the time but also the date. It still runs, and is accurate to the second.
