It's a lazy Sunday, late afternoon with the sun making its way down for the day and no longer shining directly overhead the pool building, lights on inside but only to the hour. For those still in the water this late, they may consider getting out soon so they can dry off and get dressed before they're forced to do it in the dark.

Or maybe they should get out now, because in the deep end, something large and dark is slowly making its way up from the depths.

✽ Hikaru can initially be found exiting the pool building yelling for Lucifer-senpai, and will run to the dorms yelling for Lucifer-senpai, if your character needs a reason to go to the pool building

Action: so. now we're in the void. what does pool void look like. does nene see anything special. and has the Thing become more visible/clear as to what it is yet

Rika's blood falls to the ground and the building turns dark, as if the sun itself had been snuffed out. For those whose eyes are able to adjust quickly, they'll see that the water in the pool has been replaced with mud, thick and goopy and ...moving... thick fat worms squirm around the mud, centipedes scuttle around the edges where the mud's dried into dirt, beetles take off into the air at the sudden appearance of so many guests

and by guests I don't mean everybody here. I mean the shadows of students that start to come through the main door, drawn to the Thing that looks like a black lump upon the ground.

at this point in time, it looks like something wrapped up in something, but I'm sure Nene can make an educated guess

It might not look like a body at first, completely black, almost like the void students except solid if she's brave enough to touch it, smelling of rot and burnt flesh— Rika, actually, may recognize this smell from her fourth floor adventures. At a glance, there is little to no identifying features as to who this may be.

she reaches into her POCKET FULL OF FUCKIN GLASS and beckons akira, yuzu and crona over. these are renewable pieces of a mirror! if you crush them, you get out of the void, and they're back intact in the real world. nene can have one too ofc, and she wants to look into the pool more, but... for now, it's probably best they return and examine the body back in real world.

she has a Bad Feeling about the burning smell, though... anyway, yes. get them out of the void and back into Real Life. does the body look any different? IS IT OUMA KOKICHI A VICTIM OF FOURTH FLOOR FIRE WHOSE LEGS HAVE BEEN STOLEN

OH GOD SO MANY INSECTS SHE WANTS OUT OF THE MUD and she drags crona with her as she scrambles, shoulder aching, towards the black lump. is it a body, since the shadows are drawn to it?

since crona is barking at the shadow students... rika will follow after nene to check what's in the bag... and, just in case, pull the sword out because. well.

Ow ow ow stop dragging them!! They don't know how to deal with being covered in mud right now, especially with a ton of bugs in their hair! You just got stabbed shouldn't you be more polite!?!?

They draw a hand back and bare their teeth at the void students as Rika approaches the black lump. If any of the void students tries anything, they'll try to attack one.

akira will also beat a void students ass if they get too close/violent

The void students don't initially act violently, but they're here to take that body bag and will become violent if they're attacked first. That said, the two sides can swing at each other all they want, but neither Crona nor Akira can make contact with them, as if they were nothing but shadow. Instead, where they're touched, the two of them feel cold, and the void students try to crowd them and stand in their space— too long of this, and they'll start to feel numb, losing feeling in their body and eventually collapsing.

Despite all challanges they are going to try and give Nene and Rika as much space as possible, for as long as possible! Which does mean getting violent, if they must. So if Crona uses their blood to attack a void student, or just try and push them back away from everyone, does it have any effect?

Lucifer is going to try to put up a very high-level hex around the area, I'm not going to write a spell unless me spending the next hour writing a spell is required for success in which case you'll have to wait a bit, but

the hex follows that any students (including the shadows) who enter a 5ft radius in which Nene/Rika/the body are currently in will Explode (or otherwise come to harm) (but exploding is funny)

I'm not even sure this will work it's all I got :(
