September mini-event pt 2

It's early Friday morning, the silence lifted but still a while before npc students will start coming to school. The door to the student store remains locked, despite always being propped open by a doorstop first thing in the morning, like clockwork. In the pool building, the lights automatically switch on for the day, illuminating the water below.

A large black shape floats in the middle of the pool, air trapped in the fabric wrapped and tangled around it.

lovely lovely... I am a dumb fucking asshole so re: "vaguely familiar spell" I'm like, squints loudly as I go through my memory archives, lavvy feel free to laugh at my awful memory problems

the handwriting doesn't match... question, since the book has a bit of Outside on it, do the notes w/ the mismatched handwriting have this grime too, or were these... hidden after the fact

Yes it does have bits of Outside on them! It looks like the notes were already taken, and the book was dropped afterwards. Perhaps with Clamor, who'd broken a leg, maybe from falling from a great height.

whoever pushed his dad off the roof or out a window or whatever is going to get obliterated by shadows in the coming days

I have no further questions wrt to the book though, Noah will be keeping it on his person and probably trying to self-teach himself the spells that were bookmarked for him later, that way he can double-kill the person(s) who did this like, real good.
