MINI-EVENT DISCUSSION TIME [open]
WHO: Everyone!!
WHEN: April 25th, 6PM
WHAT: Who wants to talk about ~murder~?
[There's a strong part of Kokichi that wants to keep everything he's figured out to himself, especially knowing the "winner" of this mystery will gain a ton of bonus points that could throw a serious wrench into his plans. He tends to work alone, after all.
But fortunately, there's a louder, more pragmatic part that knows everyone needs to come together. Whatever the game is here, no rules have been given. It doesn't seem like they're gonna force everyone together to figure things out. And maybe that's the point – no forced teamwork this time around, a prize to discourage people from working together. This whole setup seems designed to have them all working against each other.
Well, fuck that. The status quo is just gonna get more people killed. It's time to herd some cats and get everyone on the same page. If nothing else, it's a way to learn anything others might have figured out, and a chance to see who here has a working brain.]
--–
[Every transfer student will find an unsigned note in their lockers that reads "transfer students meeting @ 6pm 4/25 in classroom 2-C".
When they arrive at the set location and time, they'll find extra desks have been shoved in from other classrooms so there's seating for everyone. On the chalkboard, written in big bubble letters, is "SUPER FUN MURDER DISCUSSION PARTY TIME!!" with some goofy doodles around the edges. This is very serious, guys. One corner of the room has a square taped off on the floor with a single desk situated inside it, a sign taped to it reading "Crazy Containment Zone". A piece of paper on the desk says "reserved for Komaeda".
No one takes credit for organizing everything. But regardless, it's time to have a discussion.]
((HOW THIS WORKS:
- This post is a free for all! Feel free to start your own threads to discuss any clue/topic/theory/random outburst you want. Jump into any thread anywhere, no need to keep things tidy and continuous. This is gonna be a big group crammed into a classroom all talking at once, so just embrace the chaos.
- Please let the people who discovered clues OOCly be the ones to reveal them ICly! You can assume things have already been explained for the sake of discussing other clues and proposing theories and whatnot, just please don't steal anyone's thunder when it comes to explaining the things their characters figured out!
That's it! Let me know if you have any other concerns or guidelines to consider adding, just shoot me a PM or hit me up on plurk or discord! Have fun!))

[Kokichi's sitting on a desk, kicking his feet and playing dumb. He definitely did not get everyone together or do tons of investigating on his own, no sir.
Anyway, let's make sure everyone's on the same page.]

...Senku-san found one, YES. He was nice enough to allow me to give it a reaDING.
( which is to say: he just got to look at it really closely, which is what you do in palmistry, just usually on the full hand. )
It seems to have been in water for quite some TIME, based on its level of wrinkling and the SMELL, so I assume it's for someone who died earlier than our late student body presiDENT. Given that it's also just a finGER, I would assume the rest of the corpse is still wherever it is water is stored in builDINGS. I'm a fortunetelLER, not a plumBER.
( but how far can it actually be considering the timer on the bomb... thinky thoughts. )

It wasn't much longer than MINE, so it either belongs to an adult woMAN, or another stuDENT.
( ...Natsume is on the shorter side of guys, so that's why this makes sense to him. Guys usually have bigger hands. )

[EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND RELEVANT DISCUSSION TOPICS.]

( .......... )
I'll make it QUICK, so that we don't detract from the discusSION, but: by distorting the pronunciation at the end of a sentence or at a BREAK, it yields a sense of discomFORT. Thus, when I speak without this distorTION, my magic will have a greater effect on those listeNING. That isn't the whole of IT, but that'll do for NOW.

[Smiling pleasantly, he turns to wave back at Komaeda in the Crazy Containment Zone.]
Heyyy, Komaeda-chan! Scoot over, we gotta fit another desk in there!

Also, I only give reading during business HOURS, and unfortunateLY, you've missed the deadline by two DAYS. You'll have to wait until the next time I feel like doing fortunetelLING.

( he can smell that talent on him... whatever the hell natsume has... fortunetelling.. sniff sniff. )
Isn't this business right now? Man.. I missed something that great, I'm really unlucky. ( anyway. ) About the body, there's only so many ways for it to get lodged in the pipes.

I found it on the ground during the flooding and properly put it on ice. ...Well, as properly as you can in a ziploc bag. But suffice to say, the student council president has all her fingers. This one is from the pipes. Another thing of note: while I was exploring the bathrooms with Ibara-san and Bakugo-san, we found clumps of short, black hair in the pipes as well. If anything, we might have to check around for a water tank and go from there.
Bodies in water don't decompose quickly, so that's definitely another reason why we keep seeing the pink water around.

The bottom of the finger more or less confirms that it was done post-morTEM, so it was indeed the exploSION. ( but... the rest of that... interesting. ) We're supposed to have repairmen in here over Golden Week, corRECT? We should find out which of them is in charge of checking the pipes and SUCH, and then simply follow them to the probable TANK.
Assuming, naturally, that we aren't going to be barred from entering it like we are anything we don't have a key or clearance to access as normal stuDENTS.

No....Decomposing bodies in water turn water black, not pink. The smell would also be...much worse. So the reason for pink water is likely something different.
