MINI-EVENT DISCUSSION TIME [open]
WHO: Everyone!!
WHEN: April 25th, 6PM
WHAT: Who wants to talk about ~murder~?
[There's a strong part of Kokichi that wants to keep everything he's figured out to himself, especially knowing the "winner" of this mystery will gain a ton of bonus points that could throw a serious wrench into his plans. He tends to work alone, after all.
But fortunately, there's a louder, more pragmatic part that knows everyone needs to come together. Whatever the game is here, no rules have been given. It doesn't seem like they're gonna force everyone together to figure things out. And maybe that's the point – no forced teamwork this time around, a prize to discourage people from working together. This whole setup seems designed to have them all working against each other.
Well, fuck that. The status quo is just gonna get more people killed. It's time to herd some cats and get everyone on the same page. If nothing else, it's a way to learn anything others might have figured out, and a chance to see who here has a working brain.]

[Every transfer student will find an unsigned note in their lockers that reads "transfer students meeting @ 6pm 4/25 in classroom 2-C".
When they arrive at the set location and time, they'll find extra desks have been shoved in from other classrooms so there's seating for everyone. On the chalkboard, written in big bubble letters, is "SUPER FUN MURDER DISCUSSION PARTY TIME!!" with some goofy doodles around the edges. This is very serious, guys. One corner of the room has a square taped off on the floor with a single desk situated inside it, a sign taped to it reading "Crazy Containment Zone". A piece of paper on the desk says "reserved for Komaeda".
No one takes credit for organizing everything. But regardless, it's time to have a discussion.]
((HOW THIS WORKS:
- This post is a free for all! Feel free to start your own threads to discuss any clue/topic/theory/random outburst you want. Jump into any thread anywhere, no need to keep things tidy and continuous. This is gonna be a big group crammed into a classroom all talking at once, so just embrace the chaos.
- Please let the people who discovered clues OOCly be the ones to reveal them ICly! You can assume things have already been explained for the sake of discussing other clues and proposing theories and whatnot, just please don't steal anyone's thunder when it comes to explaining the things their characters figured out!
That's it! Let me know if you have any other concerns or guidelines to consider adding, just shoot me a PM or hit me up on plurk or discord! Have fun!))

[ --what he's trying to say.
Damn it, he almost fell into Ouma's games, but it doesn't matter right now. Never mind, he and Komaeda can keep saying weird things if they want. He's just going to focus on the discussion. ]
There's no way of telling for certain, but... we found some of the papers the club members use to protect the floor. One of the two with a matching blue stain was torn up, as if someone ran off after standing on it. Furthermore... the stain wasn't anywhere near the rest, so they might have stood in one spot with the brush for a while.

[Oh look, he's actually helping.]
But where did she go from the art room...?
no subject
[ As the student council president, it isn't too difficult to imagine she'd have to go. ]
But according to the librarian's account Clamor-san gave us, she was already in the library at the time. So then... when was she painting? And what interrupted her...?
no subject
[For once.]
And is the painting even actually important? Maybe we should be thinking about where she went after the library.
no subject
[ he can't shake the feeling it does fit into the puzzle somehow though, but nothing he can do if he can't tell how. ]
Although... was Okane-san even seen leaving the library? It seems as if accounts of where she was almost stop at the fire.
no subject
[C'mon, detective, you can do it!]
no subject
[ because that's kind of the problem. just because eye witness accounts seem to stop at the library, it doesn't necessarily mean okane-san left it through the ceiling. maybe she just... stayed inside for so long that everyone was gone by the time she walked out, therefore no one saw her. ]
You didn't... find anything on your first trip either, right?
no subject
[Of course, the lack of dust suggests someone crawled around up there with some frequency. But Shuichi's smart enough to connect those dots on his own.]
no subject
[ which means... there are gaps in what they know, after all. ]
I suppose... whether Okane-san went into the crawlspace or not, it still leads up to the same question. Where exactly did she vanish to at first...?
no subject
[He leans against the desk he's sitting at, chin in his hands while he appears to think hard for a moment before he brightens.]
Like the loose ceiling tile in the art room! That's an option if she did go through the crawlspace, riiight? But that still doesn't explain where she was while she was missing, huh...?
