MINI-EVENT DISCUSSION TIME [open]
WHO: Everyone!!
WHEN: April 25th, 6PM
WHAT: Who wants to talk about ~murder~?
[There's a strong part of Kokichi that wants to keep everything he's figured out to himself, especially knowing the "winner" of this mystery will gain a ton of bonus points that could throw a serious wrench into his plans. He tends to work alone, after all.
But fortunately, there's a louder, more pragmatic part that knows everyone needs to come together. Whatever the game is here, no rules have been given. It doesn't seem like they're gonna force everyone together to figure things out. And maybe that's the point – no forced teamwork this time around, a prize to discourage people from working together. This whole setup seems designed to have them all working against each other.
Well, fuck that. The status quo is just gonna get more people killed. It's time to herd some cats and get everyone on the same page. If nothing else, it's a way to learn anything others might have figured out, and a chance to see who here has a working brain.]

[Every transfer student will find an unsigned note in their lockers that reads "transfer students meeting @ 6pm 4/25 in classroom 2-C".
When they arrive at the set location and time, they'll find extra desks have been shoved in from other classrooms so there's seating for everyone. On the chalkboard, written in big bubble letters, is "SUPER FUN MURDER DISCUSSION PARTY TIME!!" with some goofy doodles around the edges. This is very serious, guys. One corner of the room has a square taped off on the floor with a single desk situated inside it, a sign taped to it reading "Crazy Containment Zone". A piece of paper on the desk says "reserved for Komaeda".
No one takes credit for organizing everything. But regardless, it's time to have a discussion.]
((HOW THIS WORKS:
- This post is a free for all! Feel free to start your own threads to discuss any clue/topic/theory/random outburst you want. Jump into any thread anywhere, no need to keep things tidy and continuous. This is gonna be a big group crammed into a classroom all talking at once, so just embrace the chaos.
- Please let the people who discovered clues OOCly be the ones to reveal them ICly! You can assume things have already been explained for the sake of discussing other clues and proposing theories and whatnot, just please don't steal anyone's thunder when it comes to explaining the things their characters figured out!
That's it! Let me know if you have any other concerns or guidelines to consider adding, just shoot me a PM or hit me up on plurk or discord! Have fun!))

[ because he honestly can't even say everyone here will leave hiro alone just yet, but. ]
Perhaps it's none of my business... It's just, I think you should trust him until the end. No matter what happens, he'll still hear you out.
no subject
... But, I wouldn't have to hope if I'd just kept the thing about the knife to myself instead of thinking I could trust people I considered friends to not be big fat blabbermouths! [nope right back to angy again]
1/2
[ STEPH PLEASE he startles easily, he's only an emo kid ]
2/2
... ]
...You're right.
[ he's not gonna say she's wrong to be angry, but... he gets kind of lost for a second, like he's remembering something too. ]
It's just... sometimes, a choice can seem like the best at the time. And you won't be able to know... that it wasn't... until you've made it.
no subject
[and until she gets a sorry, she still angy. but, not at shuichi.]
... Sorry for spooking you. Here. [she holds out the Jerky Piece of Forgiveness. it has been in many hands and is very gross and she does not want it.]
no subject
...
anyway. ]
...I'm sure Fujimaru-san will apologize too. Ah, maybe... after all of this is over, we can all write a note.
[ you know. in the happy scenario where hiro's not guilty and nobody's harassing him about it anymore, and also they all make it out of this with their lives. ]

[pause]
The little words some of you put on the ends of names. What do those mean?
no subject
[ at least he can outline that reasoning clearly. he's kind of withdrawn himself, so he gets it. ]
Hm... It might be a little difficult to explain with how language has been in this school, but... They're meant to show your relationship with that person. Kind of the same way there's a difference between calling someone Mister John instead of just John.
[ yes, he does say those in english. if stephanie doesn't speak that, though... more gibberish for her. ]
no subject
Everyone keeps using them, but they kept also bringing up much weirder stuff in the same conversation, and I'd feel bad bothering them with too many questions.
no subject
[ that's. him asking what, pretty much, you can consider it that. he does this. ]

[ you know, as part of the "weird cult that picked them to be hopeful because they're good at something" crowd, he has so many objections to that and also. tfw you can tell immediately exactly who might have been responsible for it.
i hope komaeda sneezes somewhere out there as this is being thought. ]
Right...
[ no further questions, your honor. ]
