( yes, future tense, because it's still going to happen. anyway... he'll cross his arms lightly over his chest, exhale a bit of a sigh. )

But I get it, so don't worry.

( doesn't look happy about getting it, but the point remains; in his experience, pushing komaeda past this point isn't all that successful, and it's generally easier to give it a few minutes to soft reset his chances and approach from a different angle. he does look pretty troubled as the glances back over to the table set up for the crafts though... )

( he's out of it, or maybe that's how it seems as he stares at the two with a dead, empty look in his eyes while they finish the entirety of komaeda's response. did they really do that? take one part and another finish it off? the more he thinks about it, the more he starts to apply every worst scenario in his mind — how close are they?

taking a step further away from them, komaeda stares at the table with everything. )

All this is for you both, because twenty each will suffice... maybe fourty, there's no such thing as just one jellyfish in the ocean!

( he lifts his head up from the table to look towards amami first, taking in his appearance, putting some things together, and then he focuses on subaru. )

Get to work, you shouldn't waste an Ultimate's time when he's ready to take part.

( now he's going to walk around them two and sit on top of another table. he's ready to judge!! )

[subaru puffs his cheeks at that, because he was gonna anyway and now he doesn't want to, but

okay. he will. grab some of the stuff and then look at amami, grinning lightly before going to sit next to komaeda.]

Maddy~, what's your favorite color? ♪ I'll make one for you too.

( oh, okay. guess they're just going to do their own thing, and amami will do his. do your best, subaru.

meanwhile he's going to take a look at the examples, try and figure out how the round part was set up, which shouldn't be too hard. )

( there's no red paper for them to use because he wants to keep it yogen authentic, and the lack of red if what makes the art room... the art room!

also, he's lying, he just picked a color that wouldn't be here for them to have.

stares at amami... go make arts and crafts with AMAMI, subaru. )

We don't have red... How about brown? That'll look reddish with light going through it~.

[reddish enough... orange would've been a nice pick, but if it's going through it then it'll look more yellow than anything.]
