[On the afternoon of 10/10, Noah decides to drop Clamor off at daycare finally let someone else have a turn on the sickle, and that person happens to be Sidney, because Noah cannot exist in the same area as Lucifer for long or it will create a divide by 0 error and Yogen will end. Anyway, Sidney is now holding Noah's dad (sickle).]

Don't drop him. And— don't let anyone steal him. And don't commit violence with him unless he says it's okay. [Pause.] And don't break him. And no soul-ripping spells.

I'll be fine, Noah! Honestly, you drop me more than anyone else ever has. And who would be using any soul-ripping spells here?! [Did Clamor have this exact sort of conversation not even five minutes ago with Nene, who is on solo Noah Duty for the day? Maybe. They're both just like this.

but anyway, yeah, there's fretting on both sides but eventually Noah exits stage right... it'll probably be good for him, to have a day to himself without Clamor glued to his side. being stuck as a sickle again means falling back into old habits, but he doesn't want that to get in the way of Noah's newfound independence.

... and, well, his own independence. though it's difficult to call it such, when he's a sentient hunk of enchanted metal in Sidney's hand.]

( hearing clamor's voice, as echoed as it may be, is such an immense relief- he almost wants to cry again, but he doesn't quite let it happen. of course... this isn't what sidney had meant, when he dreamed about holding clamor again. but for now, it's enough. he's there, back again. all they have to do is- is fix whatever they can. )

[Lucifer has like, a whole moment about this, he's still not sorry about all of the murder though.

That "whole moment" is Lucifer being so fucking thrilled with Clamor's return — however sharp and pointy he is now — that he unknowingly just pops over to his main form, don't worry about it, those wing flutters are flutters of joy.]
