[ "I'm not hungry" Lucifer says but opens the door anyways. Inside is an actual restaurant! It isn't very well populated at the moment, but there are several round tables in the main eating area, as well as stools in front of a counter where you can watch the chefs cook and not feel so awkward that you're eating alone. On the side wall are some advertisements, including a handwritten one for a lost dog and a phone number to call, several notices about missing children, a poster promoting a ramen eating challenge at this restaurant, and also mugshots of Clamor, Hanako, Helena, Hikaru, Komaeda, Lucifer, Sara, and Shin. The floorboards squeak underneath their feet.

Outside of the shop, there are a bunch of people pinned underneath the rubble, unidentifiable until 24809403 tons of concrete are removed from on top of their person.

Hikaru flips their hood over their head as if they're the most inconspicuous out of this group just in case things get unfrozen in the interim, and volunteers to check out the police car, be right back. ]

( guys, under the squeaky floorboards... get under there!!!

okay, komaeda can't do anything with all this rubble of dead people, so he's going to flip over like one or two, and then look where hikaru ran off to. because he wants them to help with digging through the ocean or rocks, glass and dead people with him.

[ I read that as "flip off like one or two" and went damn, Komaeda,

Hikaru gets to the police car and sees a police dog in the back seat poised to maul wanted criminals but it's frozen so they reach inside and pat it on the head ]

[Lucifer feels like he's being compelled to check under the squeaky floorboards but he's not sure why, must be some weird soul shit or smth. Can he pull up the floorboards and look under them?

Also he looks at the wanted poster and smiles because Clamor is now a known criminal and he's going to tell him this later because it's fucking hilarious. Anyway, floorboards.]

[ As if murder and grand theft auto isn't enough, Lucifer decides to add property destruction onto his list of crimes and pry up that floorboard. There is... empty space underneath, deep enough that he can plunge his entire hand down and not feel a bottom, and the dim restaurant lighting does not help much to illuminate anything more than empty space underneath the floorboards. ]

[His crimes grow with every action he takes. He gently puts the floorboard back into place as if someone's not going to fall through it if they walk across it. He'll just exit the restaurant after that.]

I didn't see anything notable within the restaurant. Oh, but I did pry up a section of the floor, and there's nothing underneath it, so be careful. Do not throw anyone down there.

( looking at hikaru, komaeda reaches out with her hetero hand to pat the frozen dog as well. he'll unlock the door from the inside, so that they can open the car door — )

Goto-kun! Is there anything specific that you see in here?

( komaeda reaching out for the gun because all cops carry the strap. )

[don't mind Lena, she's just out here still tapping away trying to find the strange small thing that had been in her view as well. things on the ground, things on the ground...]

Lucifer, do you see anything odd on the ground?

[since we have criminals over in the cop car now.]

[ Hikaru looks around inside the police car, but doesn't find anything in particular. It could be that the threat Helena detected is the simple fact that those are cops and they are wanted criminals and Komaeda is stealing one of the guns.

Outside the restaurant, Lucifer disregards people crushed under rubble as oddities, and sees nothing else of note. It looks like the only strange thing in this area to be investigated is that void Lucifer forbid people from tossing bodies down into. ]

( OUR gun, is how komaeda sees this, and he's going to reach for hikaru's wrist to pull them along away from the police car — they got what they needed, and they can stand outside of the restaurant until everyone else comes out. he'll stick the gun into his jacket pocket, along with his hands so that he can have a tight grip on it... )

Don't worry, your real life body will react better to the game than your soul. ( because blood will spurt out if the bullet actually hits, or they'll flinch every time the trigger is pulled.

( komaeda's going to grab their wrist, pulling them along to a front loader not too far away, which he thinks would be a good use of moving away the debris that's in their way. perhaps what they're looking for is under the rubble and glass, and they certainly can't move that with their hands... )

[adsum]

...Yes.

[ said in the way of "not legally, but technically" and besides, everybody is willing to break the law for Narumin's sake, they need to step up and show how far they're willing to go for their friend too.

So yeah there's nowhere to actually move all the debris to since most of it was originally up in the air so they're just... going to push it all into a pile or something, pending further instruction from Komaeda. ]

( great, he thinks, watching as hikaru gets into the vehicle, and komaeda will stand on the outside because he doesn't want his luck to backfire next to them. he dangerously walks close next to the moving vehicle, following after it to make sure that the other is getting what's important. that said, he'll cup his mouth with his hands to call out to them. )

Don't forget the deceased, separate them from the rubble so we have two stacks.

( a little morbid, but considering everyone else is also here, they have to signal letting them know that group one has already checked here.

he drops his hands down, and now he's looking on the ground for a lighter... )

[ Now that I'm properly home and back on my laptop, I can have Hikaru turn around and look at Komaeda like what the fuck? They're not going to shovel people around, thanks, they're just doing their best to clear some of the rubble off so they can hop back down on the ground and pull people to the curbside in person so that when they wake up again they'll all miraculously have missed being crushed to death. ]

( oh, they don't want to shovel them? well, at least that means komaeda can't burn them all as a signal with smoke and everything. there's already dead people hikaru... they're already dead... the hex was after... hikaru? hikaru please...

if only komaeda could say that, but maybe some can survive, who knows, and so he'll grab someone by their leg to drag them along as well to the side — he doesn't struggle as much, but he brings about two as he wanders further towards the collapsed building or whatever, trying to see if there's anything that stands out. helena said low to the ground, and so komaeda gets down on his knees to push a few things away to peek.
